The Casa del Capitano is located on the top of Monte Grosso in the National park of the tuscan archipelago. The location is unique on the island and from here you have a fantastic view of the city of Portoferraio, Piombino, Corsica, Capraia and Gorgona. The house was restored during a project lasting several years, in close collaboration with the National Park and was designed to be self-sufficient and ecological. Here you use purely the energy of the sun, without having to renounce luxury.

I stayed with my wife and two boys aged 16 and 14, the apartment is really nice and equipped with everything. Andrea, even though I didn't meet him personally, was always kind and helpful with my requests. I highly recommend it.

We (4 people and 3 dogs) stayed in Lucia's house for 2 weeks in mid-May 2025. From booking to house delivery, everything worked out fine. Lucia was always available for questions and responded promptly. The house is in good condition, equipped with everything you need, with a large covered terrace and located in a great location. It's about a 10-minute walk to the beautiful beach. The garden is very large, beautiful and completely fenced for dogs (also for small ones). For us, the price/performance ratio for this great house was absolutely right. We would book this house again anytime. Dear Lucia, thank you for everything! Pia, Angela, René, Marc and our four-legged friends Nala, Nuii and Snowy from Interlaken :-)

We had a great time in this apartment. Everything was as described: clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The location is ideal, close to all amenities. The hosting was warm and the communication was easy. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

super nice, unfortunately we did not quite check how touristy Principina a Mare is. But the accommodation supi and the beach very quiet and beautiful also at the end of September. the recommendations in Francesco's guidebooks were great!! great restaurants

Communication with Serena was always very fast and friendly. The apartment is idyllically and quietly located in a pine forest: you can always hear the birds, owls and nightingales day and night. In the apartment there is everything you would have at home, and we felt really comfortable. We had a very nice time here.

Daniela and Giuliano's stay is a real gem! The room is compact, with a small bathroom and kitchen, but perfect for two people. The view from the room is truly beautiful. Outside, you can sit in the sun or shade, with the same view over the Tuscan hills. The swimming pool is wonderfully quiet and offers a nice place to relax. Daniela and Giuliano are fantastic hosts. They are happy to help you with everything and run their own small vineyard. The wine tasting with them is an absolute must! And the sweet cats were the cherry on top!

We spent 5 nights there. Small accommodation as a family of 4, but completely adequate and with a nice terrace and everything within walking distance (beach, supermarket, restaurants). Unfortunately, the washing machine broke down just before we arrived, but Carlo is trying to fix the problems. Anyway, communication with Carlo was always very quick and friendly, even if he is not there in person! In total, everything as described and a nice, relaxed time we spent in Principina a Mare
