We really loved our stay at Romanas cottage. It’s a beautiful and cozy space. The cottage is in the most beautiful location in the countryside. It was the perfect starting point for exploring the area around Lago di Bolsena. Romana was super friendly and helpful, we felt very comfortable and would choose this accommodation again and again. We do not have the words to describe our stay here as it was truly special. I wish we had more time and if we are able to return one day we will definitely stay at Anna’s again. Anna went over and beyond to make our stay extra special. She had a variety of local goodies and goodies she made for us. She made us reservations at a nearby restaurant the first evening which was great good and a great experience. She arranged a tour of the local museum which was an amazing experience. She came with us and used her translator on her phone as we unfortunately do not speak Italian. Civitella d’Agliano is a special place and the people are wonderful. Thank you Anna for sharing your piece of heaven on earth with us!

We stayed in the apartment for two night and rested so well. It’s such a unique place with its association to the movie theater. Seeing the projector room was really interesting. You can feel the history of the building. Fiorella waited to welcome us and was so kind, answered all our questions and helped us sort everything out including parking. I highly recommend staying here!

It’s our first time experiencing such a warm place from airbnb. You can tell the history of the house, how a wonderful family used to live, and kids growing up in the place. Host Emi and her husband will be waiting you when you arrive, have the most specific instructions when you arrive. Her husband and her, are the kindest person you can think of. If you have watched the movie <UP> then you’ll know what I’m talking about. The house is brimming with the vitality of life, the experiences are more like a presentation of Italian country life.
