Die Unterkunft war wunderschön an einer sehr ruhigen Lage mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht. Es war alles sauber und mit Liebe eingerichtet damit man sich ab dem ersten Moment nur wohlfühlen kann. Es hatte alles was man braucht, auch super fanden wir die vielen Küchenuntensilien und der Grill, den wir jeden Tag benutzten. Die Terrasse mit Whirpool,Lounge,Liegen und Tisch waren das Highlight. Wir verbrachten viel Zeit in der Unterkunft, weil wir uns so wohl gefühlt haben. Der Strand Calheta ist 5min mitem Auto einfach zu erreichen und sehr empfehlenswert. Auch fanden wir den Privatparkplatz super. Bruno und Maria sind sehr zuvorkommend und fragten auch nach wie es uns geht und ob wir etwas brauchen. Die Lage war für uns perfekt, sehr ruhig, viel privatsphäre und doch gelangen wir mitem Auto überall hin. Vielen herzlichen Dank an Bruno und Maria. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Vi landade tidigt och tog en tur upp på Pico Ruivo för att se soluppgången. När vi sedan kom tillbaka löste Rogério en tidig incheckning vid 10:30! Otroligt lyxigt och han berättade massa tips och var väldigt trevlig! Lägenheten ligger perfekt! Med 5 minuters gång till närmaste mataffär, fullt med bra restauranger runt omkring och nära till havet, plus en privat pool på innergården hade man allt man kunde tänka sig efter vandringarna vi gjorde varje morgon! Också att det fanns en parkering bakom en grind kändes väldigt tryggt och smidigt! Utcheckning var även den supersmidig och vi fick alltid snabba svar när det var något vi funderade på! Verkligen toppen! Stort tack för de lokala produkterna vi fick testa! Hoppas vi ses igen!

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. The apartment is very spacious and beautifully and modernly furnished. It has everything you need. You can basically reach everything on foot. There are enough restaurants nearby that serve delicious food. The bus stop is right outside, and the bus runs every 5 minutes, which brings you into the old town in 20 minutes. The only thing that was a bit annoying was that the street was quite noisy, and you couldn't sleep with the windows open. But that's something you can overlook, given the otherwise perfect apartment. We really enjoyed it and would come back anytime.

Wir haben uns bei Manny wirklich super wohlgefühlt! Die Wohnung war sauber, ordentlich und sehr zentral gelegen – ideal, um Funchal zu erkunden. Die Kommunikation mit Manny war hervorragend, er war immer erreichbar, hat regelmäßig nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist oder ob wir etwas brauchen. Wirklich top – so wünscht man sich einen Gastgeber! Wenn wir wieder nach Madeira kommen, würden wir auf jeden Fall gerne wieder hier wohnen. Betty is the top host! She welcomed us with open arms. Very fast to respond, friendly and helpful! We were able to check out in the afternoon and enjoyed our last lunch at home before leaving for the airport. The view of the mountains is breathtaking at day and night time. The apartment is absolutely huge. It was our 3rd visit to Madeira with our elderly mum. She got beautiful bedroom with en suite bathroom and walk in shower. Betty also got an armchair for mum so she could relax on the balcony. We had such a comfortable and great stay! highly recommended!

Fantastic property and location, close to restaurants,shops,and the marina. With a Supermarket right next door. The place was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the roof terrace was a total sun trap and a lovely place to chill of an evening. The owner answered any questions we had very quickly and was a pleasure to deal with. Will definitely be booking again. 5*

Miguel’s place was perfect! The apartment looks exactly like the photos. It was clean and well equipped. The view is unbeatable, and the outdoor space was such a nice addition. Miguel is incredibly friendly, responsive and helpful. I highly recommend staying at his place!

Great host, very quick to respond. Great accommodation, very clean and tidy and so nice to have the pool. Very hilly, nice walk down into town but would recommend getting an uber or bolt back to the apartment. It’s only 5 minutes and €5 for the trip.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet, es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Die Aussicht über Calheta ist atemberaubend und der Pool war ein echtes Highlight. Alles war sauber, modern und sehr gepflegt. Absolute Empfehlung – wir kommen gerne wieder!

What a wonderful place to stay and for us perfect location to explore beautiful Madeira. 6 of us stayed for 1 week, the accommodation was perfect with various areas to spread out. We spent most of our evenings around the pool side, playing games and soaking up the views. The home has everything a family would need to enjoy your stay. Local shops, cafes and restaurants 10min walk up hill. Fully recommend if you are able to take a 1 day jeep tour of the island as Madeira has some spectacular scenery, valleys, mountains, villages and locations to explore. Contact with the host was effortless and always quick with responding. We loved our stay.

Es war alles da, was man benötigt. Die Unterkunft ist stilvoll und sauber. Der Gastgeber war immer erreichbar und hat schnell geantwortet.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in der Wohnung. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet. José war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Über die frischen Eier und das Gemüse haben wir uns sehr gefreut. Sehr Empfehlenswert!

Pedro war sehr hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Er gab uns auch einige gute Tipps. Das einzige was wir ein bisschen kritisieren müssen, ist die Möblierung. Manche Möbelstücke sind schon in die Jahre gekommen. Diese gehören unserer Meinung nach mal ausgetauscht.

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful, pristine, peaceful home. Well equipped kitchen. Maria has thought of everything. The outside space was really great, plenty of space to enjoy the pool along with the outside kitchen BBQ. We walked to the botanical gardens which was 10 minutes away. Two small supermarkets and bakery 3 minutes walk from the house. We walked in Funchal several times and caught a taxi home. Lovely climate and beautiful surroundings.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le logement ! (famille de 6 personnes) Celui-ci est bien situé, une belle vue, endroit très paisible et privé. Il est très bien équipé, piscine chauffée (pour 30€/J), barbecue disponible, très spacieux et propre. Ce qui en fait un très bon rapport qualité-prix. On recommande !

Our stay at Jorge’s place was fantastic and we would highly recommend it to any active travellers. The accommodation was just perfect. We felt safe, comfortable and relaxed when there, although we were mostly out exploring the wonderful island. The parking can be tricky but if you were like us and out from 5am and back at 3pm, parking was never an issue, although tight spaces (I recommend getting a small hire car!). 30-40 minute walk to the centre of Funchal and 15-20 bars on the way! The local bars and restaurants were all good but our favourites were Horta and Mau Fetitio if you want excellent food and service. We wanted to go to Il Basilica but they were fully booked most nights. The day trip to Porto Santo is great, very worthwhile and very relaxing but not a lot going on. We went to Pe Na Agua which was really good. Hiring e-bikes is highly recommended. The mountains reputations speak for themselves. Parking at Arieiro gets busy from 5am and costs €20 for the day. Plan well.

Beautiful, spacious apartment in a great location. We enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay here again! The big balcony was our favourite part, and the check in instructions were so easy. Loved it!

Absolutely Stunning Apartment with Unbeatable Views! This was, without a doubt, the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the absolutely stunning apartment. It was incredibly well-equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The beautiful location was a real highlight, boasting amazing sea views from the balcony that we enjoyed every single day. The lovely swimming pools on site were a fantastic bonus, perfect for a refreshing dip. Our hosts, Mariana and Ricardo, were so welcoming and helpful, always on hand to answer any questions and offer local tips. The great wifi was a practical plus, and we loved that the apartment was within walking distance to the main shops, making everything so convenient. We loved our week at Nuno's place! The apartment was lovely and bright, we loved to soak in the sun on the terrace. Nuno is very caring host :) Madeira's air is wonderful, and with the terrace door open, the apartment was always filled with fresh air- so good to sleep like that. The terrace is not too windy as well! Just the perfect breeze blowing by. Definitely would recommend the apartment!

The apartment was perfect for our family, a great base to explore the island. Well equipped for a family though we only used for breakfast, eating out in the many local restaurants . The bakery downstairs is fabulous , serving breakfast, lunch and snacks..
