The atmosphere is created by an open fireplace in the cottage. Several great activities directly from the front door: in winter, the Kuontivaara ski trail passes by, and in summer, a mountain bike trail (Kouvervaara trail). The nearest grocery store is about 10 minutes by car (Ruka). The cottage is part of a housing association, one semi-detached house in the same yard and one cottage consisting of three apartments.

Saatat ehkä nähdä poroja suoraan mökin pihalla. Tarjoamme kesäkaudella (toukokuusta elokuuhun) käyttöönne kaksi SUP-lautaa, veneen ja kalastusvälineet. Talvikaudella tarjoamme muutamia lumikenkiä, suksia ja sauvoja hiihtoa varten sekä kalastusvälineet pilkkimiseen. Kohteessa on mäki ja portaita.

Tämä vanhasta riihestä rakennettu tunnelmallinen hirsimökki sijaitsee kirkasvetisen Kitkajärven rannalla. Kitkajärveä kutsutaankin Euroopan suurimmaksi lähteeksi. Kohde kutsuu nauttimaan kokkailusta luonnon helmassa, suppailemaan järvellä ja nauttimaan rantasaunan hempeistä löylyistä. Käytössäsi on soutuvene ja SUP-lauta. Marjapaikat löytyvät ihan mökin vierestä. Mökissä ei ole sähköjä eikä juoksevaa vettä. Aurinkopaneelien avulla lataat kännykät kätevästi kesällä. Mökki on puulämmitteinen.
