A charming little wooden house by the sea

This quirky attractive vintage little cottage is perfect for getting away from it all and relaxing in idyllic surroundings. Just a few metres from the lovely pebbly Gurnard beach, this fully refurbished historical little wooden building is set back from the road and tucked away behind our wild garden. It is accessed from its own car parking space via a little path. At the rear, a small stream goes to the sea and a large oak tree provides shelter to birds and a relaxing swing seat.

Romantic 17th Century Paper Mill on The Meon River

Enchanting converted 17th Century Paper Mill over the River Meon in Warnford, Hampshire. Quirky interior with original Japanese features. Trout anglers will have a ball. There are swans, herons, kingfishers and mallards and, if you're really lucky, you might see an otter. As you can see from the photo, the Mill is just by our cottage, but we're not always there so often you'd have the whole garden to yourself. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers.

The living room is a lovely social area which has a large corner sofa and TV/stereo with Xbox/PlayStation & a few board games should you wish to chill on a rainy day / evening. Located just moments from the beach, and a few minutes walk from town, our apartment couldn't be in a better spot for a fantastic stay.
