Had a lovely stay, such a great property!!

Our stay here was perfect, we couldn’t have asked for a better house and host for celebrating a family members birthday with all the family.

We had the most wonderful stay at this lodge on the beautiful Isle of Wight. Tucked away in a peaceful caravan park just a stone’s throw from the sea, it offered the perfect mix of relaxation and seaside charm. The location couldn’t be better—waking up to the beautiful sea view and being able to stroll down to the beach in just minutes was absolute bliss. The on site pool and playground were the perfect end to a day exploring for our kids, all the staff here were friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough to help. The accommodation itself was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. Everything we needed was there, from towels, a well-equipped kitchen to cozy beds and a lovely lounge area with the most stunning uninterrupted sea views . It felt more like a boutique coastal retreat than a lodge! Can’t recommend this place highly enough—whether you’re after a romantic escape, a quiet solo retreat, or a family break by the sea, this gem has it all. Thank you Rob :)

It's unfortunate that we could not stay, due to a hospital emergency for one of us travelling. I spoke to Crystal regarding our circumstances and she was so kind and worked with us to try and resolve the situation we found ourselves in. Really loved our stay. The lodge was immaculate and exactly as described. Pet friendly especially the enclosed veranda wrapping round the lodge. Wendy was lovely, greeting us upon arrival to ensure all was well and answer any questions. Well equipped in all rooms and extremely comfortable with lots of storage. We really enjoyed our holiday at Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park. Rosie’s accommodation was excellent. It had everything it said it would. It was clean, well maintained and welcoming. Rosie advised on the local amenities and was extremely friendly to deal with. Would definitely stay there again.

What a spot! I’d highly recommend staying here to anyone thinking about it. We had a lovely stay. The place is great - spacious, bright, very clean and has everything you need (and more!) Fiona has spared no expense or effort - she has thought of everything. The cherry on top of all of this is how brilliant Fiona is! Great communication and just a warm person. Thank you Fiona!

Lovely house right on the sea front, those views from the terrace you would never get tired of!

Fiona and Leo were lovely hosts. Communication was very fast and clear. At arrival we were shown inside - the house was spotless. Beds and linen spotless, after traveling it was some of the best sleep we have had. Garden area was at our disposal, had a lovely barbecue. Had space for parking. Overall very beautiful place. Wish services had been slightly closer, however uber works great in the area. Thanks for a good stay!

Fantastic host, highly recommend

I organised my family get together at this house, for fam members ranging from 6mo to 89yo. We had a great time, very happy with everything. The kitchen isn’t a hang out spot (it’s small for a house of this size) but that doesn’t matter, you have everything you need, and the dining room table is huge, as pictured. Ken who met us at check in was extremely helpful, and responsive. My group walked to the Gosport submarine museum on day 2 (roughly 3 miles away?) but i gave that a skip and went to the powder monkey brewery with my partner, baby and father, which was very nice (sunny day, benches outside on the lawn). The pub across the road is also pretty decent. Overall highly recommended, for groups that need this many bedrooms but don’t want to shell out on a mansion somewhere.

Unique and amazing location. The window seat provides a 180 degree view of sea and sky across to the Isle of Wight. All very beautiful and dramatic. Clean and well looked after. Enjoyable stay for all the family.

Came here with friends over the bank holiday weekend and had a great time! Spacious and clean living area with two beds and two bathrooms, with lots of natural light and ample parking space (including an electric charging station). Really liked the modern furnishings and appliances (e.g. TV, sound system, induction stove) and the quiet, peaceful surroundings. Two things to point out - 1. Dishwasher wasn't working during our stay, which we only found out after cooking dinner. Thankfully Chelsea was responsive and provided some sponges the morning after even though it was a Sunday. 2. It would help to have some blinds / shades in the bedrooms, especially during summer when the sun rises early. Thank you Chelsea for the great stay and hope to visit again!

amazing place, clean house, and friendly host !

Thanks for letting us stay. We loved being on the marina and just a short walk from a café. The space was really lovely, and we enjoyed having breakfast out on the patio in the sun.

It was a perfect long weekend for our little family. It was exactly what we needed to spend some time together as a family and enjoy the beautiful surroundings!! The fire place makes it even better in the evening. What a lovely time we had there. We would definitely love to come back.

Stayed here last weekend for a family birthday. We could not have chosen a more perfect location or property. The amenities were perfect for a leisurely get away, loads of space inside & out. Exactly as described in the advert or reviews. All communication made for an easy arrival/check in/out and a very generous welcome hamper We were extremely lucky with the weather and sat the first evening eating & drinking outside watching red kites, hawks and the finale being a barn owl feeding in the next door field. What a treat to watch. The hot tub and electric BBQ made for an easy and fun evening. We did not explore as much as we would have liked but it was the perfect location for our weekend at Goodwood just 15 mins away. I cannot recommend highly enough if anyone needs a large space to entertain or just enjoy. I will definitely return to explore the wonderful attractions and scenery on another occasion. We had such a lovely time at The Gables. It was a beautiful space and perfect for the whole family, we will definitely book again!

I have stayed in many Airbnb properties over the years, but this surpasses them all! The location on the beach, with facilities which lacked nothing, would top anyone's expectations. The décor was bright and fresh, suiting the house perfectly. This property is of the highest standard.

We enjoyed our stay at Charlotte's place very much. It is very spacious and clean and within walking distance of shops, cafes and public transport. Portsmouth has lots to do and a very interesting maritime history. We hope to come back some day

We had a wonderful holiday despite the weather being disappointing.

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay at Lakeside Lodge. The setting was quiet and relaxing- perfect for unwinding and yet conveniently located close to a wide range of activities and places of interest. The accommodation itself is clean, comfortable and well-equipped, making it a great base for our trip. Jackie is responsive and had thoughtfully left some welcome treats, including our favourite oatmilk :) We would highly recommend for anyone looking for a restful break.
