Die Unterkunft ist sehr liebevoll und praktisch eingerichtet. Der Raum ist optimal genutzt, so dass wir auch zu viert eine Woche lang sehr gut zurecht kamen. Wenn wir eine Frage hatten oder Hilfe benötigten, hat Constança innerhalb sehr kurzer Zeit reagiert und uns immer weitergeholfen. Besonders gut hat mir die nahe Lage zu dem wunderschönen Park gefallen und dass das Meer fußläufig in 20 Minuten erreichbar war.

From the moment we booked Isabel was extremely helpful and responsive to any queries. She met us at the apartment and took time to identify places to visit, advised us on restaurants, suggested excursions. Sorted out a taxi to take us back to the airport. Isabel made our trip completely hassle free. I haven’t even mentioned the beautiful studio apartment, immaculate, tastefully decorated, extremely comfy bed and pillows and of course the view of the Douro. Walking distance from the riverside bars and restaurants and also to the centre of Porto which is up hill but in a quiet residential street which was nice to come back to after exploring the busy streets of Porto.

A peaceful garden area is surrounded by vibrant flowers and lush greenery. A small table and chairs are positioned on lawn, with a shaded spot created by a tree. Pathways guide the way through the colorful plants, offering a tranquil retreat.

There are very few places that can live up to the moniker of a truly special location. It take a rare blend of a thoughtful beautiful space, impeccable service, and genuine/ super friendly hosts. My only regret about writing this review is that I am sure once people discover this gem I will find it very difficult to find an available opening again as it is sure to be in high demand. Enrico and his entire family are the perfect hosts, the included simple breakfast of fresh bread, yogurt, fruit and assorted cheese is such a nice treat to wake up to every morning and partake in their amazing Dining Room. I can't recommend highly enough trying their tasting dinner in the evening, as Enrico apparently is a 1 start rated Michelin Chef and the food is amazing. Even if you don't book a room to stay in you should go to the restaurant one evening if you are in Porto. My room was spotless, very comfortable and beautifully laid out. Super Comfortable Bed as well. This place is special.

Casa espectacular. Amplia y espaciosa. Perfecta para un grupo de personas. Hay intimidad debido a la individualidad de sus habitaciones con baño. La casa super bien decorada y limpia.. Totalmente equipada. Tiago es un gran anfitrión y merece la pena conocerlo. Nos ha tratado excelentemente . Muy amable. Seguro que repetiremos si tenemos la ocasión.

Ana and João’s apartment was bright, spacious and clean. We appreciated the fluffy pillows and towels. We had a brief stay and it was nice to feel that we didn’t need to run out and do errands since essentials like dish detergent were already provided.

He viajado por muchas ciudades, me he hospedado en muchos hoteles y posadas; he visto y he sentido que es una atención genuina pero jamás comprada a una atención tan cálida como la Candida y Diago. He quedado maravillado con la sencilla y hermosa decoración, con lo limpio y pulcro de todos los espacios. Creo que Diago ( el multifacético gerente) es un mago, tiene un don que Dios le ha dado y ese don lo ha sabido usar pera servir a los invitados. Sí alguna vez vuelvo a Espinho no dudare en quedarme en este encantador lugar. Ame cada segundo que estuve aquí. Gracias por toda la atención…

Inês et son mari sont toujours disponibles et vous obtiendrez auprès d'eux de bons conseils - vous pourrez découvrir ainsi à Marco de Canaveses un excellent petit restaurant: la "Bodeguita do Bom Retiro" - , mais ils vous laisseront aussi vivre votre vie. Les hôtes pourront faire leurs courses, préparer leurs repas en cuisine, et se sentir ici chez des amis de longue date. La demeure est entourée de vignes et de collines. Le petit déjeuner aux oeufs brouillés et aux fruits est généreux, les confitures et la citronnade sont exquis. Ich hatte einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt bei Ines und ihrem Mann. In ihrem alten Haus zu wohnen war etwas ganz besonderes. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und das Bett war sehr bequem. Der Pool und der große Garten sind wie auf den Fotos gezeigt ein Traum und besonders hervorzuheben sind das tolle Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit allem was das Herz begehrt sowie die herzliche Gastfreundschaft von Ines und ihrem Mann. Vielen Dank dafür! Ich habe mich als Alleinreisende sehr willkommen gefühlt. Die ganze Gegend ist wunderschön und romantisch, ein Aufenthalt dort lohnt sich unbedingt!

A lovely room to stay in for 4 nights, with a homely feel, despite excellent mod cons. Staff were extremely friendly and forthcoming. It was a pleasure to return home after a day out walking and seeing the sights. The staff really build a rapport with guests and made us and our son feel welcomed as individuals throughout our visit, having a good chat and accommodating our needs with tailored suggestions, and a delicious breakfast-each day with a different speciality of food. Canto de Luz has a really independent welcoming feel which probably sets it apart from other guesthouses and hotels in the city. 100% recommend.

Really enjoyed the hostel and would stay again. It was focused around the surfing in the morning which was great, Marco is a great teacher and you get plenty of time on the waves. Raquel is a lovely host and the food is excellent, there's a bit of a lack of local things to do and places to eat within walking distance but the nearest city isn't too far if you want to explore in the afternoons/evenings. Would totally reccomend the hostel to anyone wanting to learn how to surf, many thanks : )

La habitación era amplia y estaba impecable, el sitio es bonito y tranquilo y el desayuno excelente. Lástima que no pudimos aprovechar más la piscina porque hacía bastante fresco. Lo recomendaría a familias con pequeños que quieran hacer excursiones por la zona, que es muy bonita.

We were very happy with our stay: room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast was cute, and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend staying here, even though the hotel is situated a bit outside of downtown Porto (walking is possible, and Uber is flexible).
