This is a well presented, impeccably clean self contained unit. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming, without intruding. Located within easy walk of the beach, pubs, restaurants, coffee shops, the supermarket and historical sites.

Very pleasant atmosphere & privacy. Good off street parking. Close too main attractions & foods(just a few minutes drive from town center). Modern inside with helpful instructions on how to use all appliances. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Portland area.

Childers Rest is very comfortable and it had everything we needed. We especially loved the outdoor kitchen and dining area - you could hear the ocean while you sipped a glass of wine. Then when we stepped outside in the morning, the outlook over the golf course was magnificent!
