We absolutely loved our stay. Portloe Retreat is gorgeous - clean, comfortable with a really pretty patio area and extremely quiet apart from the pleasurable sound of the birds singing. Hamish and Helen are lovely hosts - helpful, friendly and very welcoming. There are stunning walks on the doorstep and loads of interesting places to visit. We highly recommend Portloe retreat and hope to get back there again soon.

I had a wonderful time at the Granary Annexe - it is a very special place, so peaceful and thoughtfully arranged by Nicole, who is a really warm and helpful host. Spacious and light, with lovely decoration, the Annexe has all the facilities needed by a solo traveller or couple for a really relaxing stay. These include a restful and comfortable bedroom, great shower, well-equipped kitchenette and dining area, and the lounge was a real joy to be in! With its wonderful view of the sea and fields I found it hard to tear myself away, but the Annexe is also in a great location for lovely trips out - I enjoyed visiting Megavissey, Charlestown and the gorgeous gardens at Caerhays Castle for the first time, as well as returning to favourite places in the Roseland Peninsula. Nicole gives really helpful hints about places to visit and how to get there - the roads round here can be narrow and steep in places but don't let that put you off coming as this is great place to explore and unwind.

Gorgeous setting and absolutely everything you could want, Jo very helpful. Unfortunately for us it was raining the whole time so couldn’t get our use of the fire pit and outside area but if you get sun it will be fab!

The Secret Cabin is a fantastic little hideaway, exactly as described. We had a great Easter weekend there. It did help that the sun shone, so we could enjoy the outside decked area. Is there anywhere in the world to beat Cornwall in the Spring sunshine? Jules herself was a great host. Thoroughly recommend.
