Farmstay vacation rentals in Portalegre District

We were 4 families with children spending a week at Quinta da Paz in August/24 and evaluated the space very well. The house has a lot of space with 4 out of 5 bedrooms with a private bathroom, very large living room, kitchen and dining room also large. Outside space is very pleasant with immense lawn space around the pool and with fruit and shadows trees. The farm has a chicken coop where it was possible for the kids to take the eggs for cooking and has a beautiful mare (it is in a large but “fenced” space that in theory does not come out). Mr. João who received us and Mr. Carlos who owns it are 5-star people who responded to everything and helped everything. I recommend and repeat

We had a wonderful stay. Very peaceful, beautiful countryside with only the sheep for company! House spacious and had everything we needed. Everything was a very high standard. Highly recommend and hope to be back one day

Unique place for those looking to have a good time in tranquility and peace. We were very well received and our stay was really enjoyable! Unique experience with all the animals and wonderful scenery, not forgetting the features of the house that almost take us on a trip through time. We had a wonderful time at Catarina’s place. The cottage was peaceful and quiet and had all things necessary for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped, which we appreciated so much as we enjoyed cooking our meals. The pool was our favourite spot during the day and the huge estate allowed for gorgeous evening walks. We loved having the dogs around and getting some cuddles in. :) We would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a tranquil vacation, and we are hoping to return ourselves as well!

Herdade da Maxuqueira is a spectacular place that I hope to be able to return. The interior and exterior areas are very well cared for, equipped and comfortable for the number of people who stay overnight. In addition, Sofia was a great guest always available for any questions that arose. I highly recommend it.

The cottage was cozy and comfortable. It is a beautiful location. Peaceful and quiet. The hosts are fantastic. Everything was perfect.

A big thank you for this stay which was beyond our expectations. Thanks to Milu Rosario Zelia and Pierre for their hospitality, kindness and attention. This place is amazing: a renovated gem tastefully decorated. We loved everything; the natural setting, the common areas to relax, the incredible view of the river and the small village of Avis which offers a beautiful illuminated painting in the evening, and of course the pool, hot tub and activities offered on the river. Our son loved water skiing with Pierre. And to make this stay perfect from breakfast to dinner we enjoyed homemade dishes and a very hearty breakfast. This stay was an exceptional moment of relaxation and rest thanks to our hosts. It's not just a beautiful place, it's also the people who make it beautiful.

We had an amazing stay at Monte do Poejo! Truly a weekend to remember! The place looks even better than the pictures, everything is thought-out for a comfortable stay. You’ll never get bored there as the quinta has everything, from a guitar and a synthesizer to a swimming pool and a pool table :) But in all seriousness, it has all the amenities you can possibly need for a weekend getaway. Thanks Maria for being an amazing host and helping us in any way she could!

A wonderful place to rest and relax. Breathtaking sunset and sunrise. Starry nights are a show of their own. Very Cortez and attentive team. Super recommended!

We stayed three families (6 adults and 6 children) and clearly chose little time to be able to enjoy the house and its surroundings more. The house comes with everything you need and more. I would say that it is enough for you to take your clothes, there are toys, medicines, infinite kitchen accessories, vegetables and fresh eggs from your garden, wine and milk of various types of welcome. The photos do not do justice to the size, aesthetics, and cleanliness of the house. It's full of details that make the stay very comfortable and happy. The very extensive outdoor areas, with a large pool, tennis court, relaxation area with hammocks, meant that our children did not stop all day running and enjoy. This was a lovely retreat near Marvão. The house has all the amenities we needed and the pool was amazing. It was around 38 degrees when we stayed and having an electric fan was definitely a need for one of the rooms, however there was always a fresh breeze in the early evening that cooled the house down. Mosquito netting over the windows also helped keep the bugs away. Oriane was a lovely host and attentive to any needs. Because of its location I would recommend a robust car to negotiate the final 500m of gravel road which has plenty of potholes and rocks, drive carefully! Highly recommend a stay here.

The owner is always available for questions and will look with you for any solution, flexible. Katia provides the best breakfast and is incredibly helpful in all. They have the sweetest dogs and other animals on the property. Our kids have trouble leaving. They felt at home and missing the animals. From the cottage there is a view of the pool. Ideal also for younger children, the supervision of the pool is therefore optimal. The beds are fantastic! The area pays off for beautiful walks with or without a dog. Due to our emigration to Portugal, we visited many different airbnb houses and can rightly say that at Luis we only had a wonderful period of time! Thank you!

You stay in an authentic and beautiful crafted house. A great place to organize your hikes through untouched nature. Peter and Rosemary are very hospitable people and do everything they can to make your stay perfect. A wonderful welcome pack upon entry. Peter gave me a beautiful demonstration with the sheep dogs. I received a list of tips to do in the region. You stay in the countryside where various animals live, the most beautiful, but also unwanted. something to take into account. All in all a great airbinb and certainly worth recommending

True hidden gem in Alentejo, with an amazing view. Perfect for a group of friends or a big family!

We had a fantastic stay at this accommodation. The location was perfect, with easy access to all the main attractions. The atmosphere is incredible, surrounded by nature and with tranquility that makes us feel completely relaxed. The swimming pool was perfect for the hot days, and I loved being able to be close to the animals, which gave a special touch to the experience. The hospitality was exceptional, the Elsa always available to help and make sure everything was perfect. Definitely an experience I recommend and would love to repeat in the future.

Monte da Boavista is a fantastic family home, very well equipped and very comfortable. The house is functional and ideal for a group with children, extraordinary nature for rides and cycling and has a Park for the kids. We spent a very pleasant few days and we will be back for sure!
