Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Portalegre District

A wonderful weekend, we ended up staying another day, and it was totally worth it!! Reka and James are wonderful, kind and kind people. Let's do it again, no doubt! I recommend to everyone that you want to rest and recharge batteries. It's truly a pearl in our dear Alentejo 🫶

Quaint little township in a very calm area, has the necessary utensils to prepare easy meals, in my opinion a microwave and a coffee machine is missing. Everything was clean and the heating was already on when we arrived what is an added value. Dª Rosa is friendly and answered promptly to the questions posed. Breakfast has been delivered hourly combined in a basket and although simple is enough. Bread, homemade milk breads, dry cakes (were different in 2 days), milk, powdered coffee, natural orange juice, butter, cheese and ham, natural yogurts and honey and jam in bottles. The site is very quiet to rest up and get away from the routine. I wouldn't mind coming back.

We stayed three families (6 adults and 6 children) and clearly chose little time to be able to enjoy the house and its surroundings more. The house comes with everything you need and more. I would say that it is enough for you to take your clothes, there are toys, medicines, infinite kitchen accessories, vegetables and fresh eggs from your garden, wine and milk of various types of welcome. The photos do not do justice to the size, aesthetics, and cleanliness of the house. It's full of details that make the stay very comfortable and happy. The very extensive outdoor areas, with a large pool, tennis court, relaxation area with hammocks, meant that our children did not stop all day running and enjoy. The kids loved the stay and loved meeting the dogs when we left. We appreciated the calm of this place, the decoration chosen carefully to create a beautiful atmosphere on the farm and the sympathy of the employees who welcomed us and who do an excellent job on Celine's land. The only "negative" point to our stay was the absence of a broom or vacuum cleaner, it's really just a small detail! But we were traveling with a 10-month-old baby who was very messy at meals, and crawling around eating everything he could find, it was a little annoying for us not to be able to clean the floor properly. But a very good experience overall. Thank you for allowing us to have a nice experience on the farm.

Casa das Pedras is a great place to stay on a visit to this area. It is a very calm and quiet area, perfect for relaxing. We only stayed one night and it was a shame, because the house invites you to stay a few good days to disconnect and rest. Marcia is an excellent host, always present and ready to help. I highly recommend this place and I want to go back!

Serra Vida is a very special, wonderful place! We had a very relaxing stay in this oasis of peace surrounded by nature. The proposed daily yoga classes are a real plus. Will definitely come back for a longer stay!

Carla’s place was enchanting. I imagine it would be even more lovely without storms keeping us inside. The location was close enough to the city, but far enough away to feel like we were on a retreat. She was incredibly responsive, kind, and offered wonderful nearby recommendations of things to do and places to eat. The breakfast offer was a nice surprise, and her welcoming team of sweet rescue cats and dogs were also delightful. I would recommend this place more for say a family of three, with one being a child, to sleep in the little spare room with a twin bed. For three adults, it was a little bit of a tight fit. Would recommend to put the frosted glass on the door to the smaller bedroom for more privacy. Also, bathroom door did not close. We worked around these tiny issues and loved our stay.

Beautiful place! Loved being surrounded by nature. The nearby river is the perfect place to relax with loved ones or to meditate.
