A wonderful place for families and great for a vacation to relax.

An excellent house, in a wild place but full of charms! A stream close to the house where dogs can get wet, a dam on the homestead, wonderful bread, helpful and friendly people who made it easy…. A place to come back to!! We traveled with two large dogs that were accepted without hesitation, we were pampered and spent some memorable days. About the house… beautiful! Rustic, well framed, comfortable, clean, well equipped. A true pearl to discover. Thank you Patricia and other colleagues…. Well done!

Luis was a fantastic host - responsive and always of service. The lodgings were fantastic - clean, comfortable, had everything that was needed and more, and in a part of the village I found SO interesting (the medieval part). It was close to the village centre and all that was needed for a pleasant stay. I HIGHLY recommend Luis and his lodgings, and the village of Castelo de Vide for what could be described as nothing less than a STELLAR travel experience! Jaye

The pictures definitely don't live up to the paradise we found. A house (NOTHING SMALL), lost on the hill, among sheep, donkeys and chickens, which transports us to a film. We wanted a quiet place, for a one-night getaway in the middle of the week, and we felt like more. Undoubtedly, it will be a place to repeat, with more time to enjoy all that the house offers us to explore: private collections, winery, walks, pool, landscape… Mr. Élio always friendly and helpful. All the people who passed by us were super friendly. And let's not talk about the homemade bread and the boleima: of eating and crying for more!

Great stay inside castle walls! Luis was great host. We met him in town, parked our car and he drove us up the narrow streets to the apartment. It’s about a 10 minute walk down to square. Town is lovely and friendly. Highly recommend!

Group of 6 couples for 3 days at the turn of the year 24/25. The house is spacious, modern and very pleasant, all with very good taste! Central heating provides the necessary comfort for the cold of Alentejo, but it's a pity the fireplace doesn't work. The kitchen is huge and the fridge/freezer too!As the house is in transition of owners, there are still some touches that, when ready, will make the house even better than it already is! Such as: more light in the living room and kitchen, a reading nook, more chairs at the dining table and renovated sofas. I highly recommend this hill for groups as it has plenty of room to socialize and relax. It has a great pool and a huge porch that will certainly be magnificent to enjoy when it is not winter.

Very nice place, well appointed and very clean. The owner is really very kind and available. The swimming pool is just beautiful. We did a lot of bnb and this one is the best we rented. Thanks to Pierre for his welcome, availability and kindess

Exceptional treatment from the owners. We had to delay because we encountered a detention and they were waiting for us at the house with the heating on and the house air-conditioned. I would repeat it again both for the location and the service. Highly recommended

We chose Monte das Mogueiras to celebrate our wedding with our closest friends and it was the best decision we could have made. From the beginning, communication was always quick and clear. They clarified all our questions, always with kindness and patience. They allowed us to enter earlier and enjoy the last day until later, and they had the pool ready for us to enjoy the heat of Alentejo. We'll be back for sure! Thank you so much :)

Ideal for rest! Not suitable for those who do not like animals, especially cats. Excellent for those who have children and want them to be in contact with nature.

We loved the stay. We chose Pedro's house to spend a few days at the end of the year, and it was a great decision, the house and the surroundings are excellent. Very good for resting and hiking. Pedro, was a great host, was always very available, always providing useful information, and was very attentive to us. Experience to repeat, of course.
