Lovely place, nice people. Fenced area around the hot tub was great for the dog Would highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Tara’s Cottage. It was clean, cosy and the views from the hot tub were superb! Darragh was an excellent host providing info and he quickly responded to msgs. Would definitely recommend this spot for a few nights away :-)

A lovely warm welcoming place to stay. Mike had so many personal touches to make you feel at home. The artwork and the garden around the house was beautiful with so much to see. A short drive to great hikes in the Mourne mountains. And with the hot tub and the film projector there was plenty to do in the evenings.

Had a lovely relaxing two night stay at Wildthorn Cottage. Exactly as listed and would not hesitate to recommend and come back! Spotlessly clean, private and very pretty. Hot tub is great and beautifully peaceful. Thank you for having us and for the treats!

Our 3rd stay in Slieve Cottage - speaks for itself!! But what has us coming back is it’s the perfect spot to switch off and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Amazing walks/hikes nearby and coming back to relax in the hot tub is such a treat. Conor is so welcoming and the cottage is equipped with everything you need/want for a comfortable and cosy stay. Elsie’s Cottage is a nice and relaxing place to stay. Check in was very easy and seamless. Yvonne gave us all of the information we needed and even communicated everything we needed to know prior to our arrival. The hot tub is a great addition!

We had a lovely stay at the gate house. It was beautiful, clean and very tidy. The hot tub was an added bonus which we thoroughly enjoyed with the beautiful sunset. We also had a very warm welcome from Chris and Hannah. Highly recommend and we will be back ! 🤩🤩

Beautiful cottage. Cosy, clean and comfy with everything you need for a comfortable stay and the garden was perfect. Lovely wee village with shops, pubs and restaurants but still feeling very much in the country.

Margaret's cottage is in a quiet countryside location but local towns and villages are easily accessible. The cottage was spotlessly clean, had a really homely feel, and had everything that we (and our dog) could have asked for in terms of kitchenware, linen, etc. The locals were extremely friendly, as were the horses in the adjoining field that rushed over to meet us when we arrived. I would 100% recommend Margaret's place to anyone as a quiet place to unwind, or a base for some great sightseeing and lots of outdoor activities. Thank you Margaret.

Lovely stay with the family. Felt very homely and had everything catered for. Steen was super responsive and even allowed us to stay a bit longer due to the weather forecast. Thankyou for enabling a great week with the family.

Lovely long weekend stay in Joanna’s cottage - super cosy, beautiful surroundings. Lots of outdoor space for the kids to play, and great that it was dog friendly too. Joanna was a great host - clear communication & quick replies.

The cottage was excellent in every way. Well-fitted out and spotless. John and Roberta were responsive, engaging hosts. A month was well spent, indeed. We could recommend the cottage without hesitation!

This cottage is cosy and comfortable and extremely well equipped with everything you need for a stay with generous supplies of toiletries and foodstuffs. it's a peaceful location but with easy access to the coast and mountains and with beautiful views in all directions. Great place to stay to visit the Mourne mountains and the coastal towns and villages, recommended. Great Fish restaurant in DUndrum called Mourne Fish bar, fish and chips in Annalong eaten on the beach couldn't be beaten!! Murlough beach and nature reserve and a wander round Rostover also good trips out.

Exceeded our expectations for sure. Enjoyed every minute. Host went out of her way to meet with us. Cottage did not lack anything. Area was quite and in the middle of nature.

Idyllic...great cottage with excellent amenities. Everything was as described in the listing. Very comfortable beds and excellently equipped kitchen. lovely touch is the welcome treats left for guests. This was a repeat visit for me and I will be back again. Great host.

The place was ideal. We were staying in Carlingford for a wedding, with my parents to look after our children. The house was well equipped for the children, Jim left a baby swing for our 3 month old which was invaluable. Outdoor toys, indoor games fabulous. The kids loved the garden and doing laps of the house on their bikes! Jim was very responsive, gave great instructions and was very helpful allowing us to check out later on in the day which helped with three children, to not be rushed! Thanks, highly recommend this to anyone.

We had a fantastic stay at Clonlum Cottages! The cottage was spotless and very well kept. The location is beautiful with amazing views, and it was perfect for our hike. The hot tub was a highlight – extremely lovely to use after a long day out. The host was friendly and helpful, and check-in and check-out were a breeze. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

I stayed at this lovely cottage for 10 days and absolutely loved the atmosphere. The place is peaceful, charming, and felt like a real home away from home. The hosts were very polite, welcoming, and always up for a friendly chat, which made the experience even better. I brought my dog along, and it couldn’t have been more perfect for us. The garden is secure, which gave me real peace of mind, and I was able to safely leave him alone when needed. The resident dog is also an absolute sweethear, and a lovely companion around the property. Parking might look tight at first glance, but I was able to comfortably fit my Toyota Hilux and still close the gate, perfect for those doggy clean-downs after walks. All in all, a fantastic stay. I really appreciated the warm hospitality and dog friendly setup. Already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended!

A wonderful retreat for a young couple’s first weekend away, the sauna, cold bath, stained glass window and projector were lovely touches that really added to the atmosphere. Kathy was kind and approachable and the place was in great condition. It is extremely well situated, very close to great hiking routes including the granite trail we did, the beach, and local restaurants (we found O’Hares a fabulous spot for dinner and great pints of Guinness). While some additional cutlery, cooking pots, scissors, tongs etc would be useful in future, with the hot water on the bath not currently working- overall this was a minor point amid a fantastic experience that served as a real highlight for our relationship to date- We would love to return for our anniversary in future. Thank you for so much for having us and we look forward to returning!
