Cottage vacation rentals in Port St. Joe

The Carriage House is a gem! Beautifully appointed, quiet and proximity to the beach was perfect. The view from the porch is a great way to start and end the day! Hosts were welcoming and responsive. The addition of a grill was much appreciated. Location was convenient to shops and exploring the area. Highly recommend!

Such a nice location. Pool was great. Home was really very nice. Couch bed was less than desirable but couch beds tend to be so. Public access beaches are close. Town of Port St. Joe is filled with little shops and restaurant and there is a full sized grocery store nearby. Had a very nice weekend!

High School teen describes it as, “good, beachy vibes”. A private balcony off the master bed with its own bathroom!! Each room with a large TV, each room has its own bathroom! Lots of space, right by the pool. Very quiet and right by the beach!! Just walk across the street!

the place was great, clean inside and out. communication with host was quick and helpful Will seek this property out again when headed back to the gulf coast.

We really enjoyed our stay! Communication with Kristin was excellent, home was beautiful and just as pictured, very clean, loved having beach chairs/towels/wagon etc provided. Short walk to the beach and Mango Marley’s. We would definitely stay again :)

The house itself was amazing! Fully stocked kitchen, super comfortable beds and it was really nice having the pool right outside your door! My only complaint is that I didn’t receive check in info until about an hour before we were due to check in, which was very frustrating! Vacasa was very hard to get ahold of! The area of Port St Joe was just ok for us, there isn’t very much to do, especially with a toddler in tow! A few boutiques to shop (which our teenage girl loved!), some decent restaurants (we liked Provisions the best!) but we struggled to find activities to do. We had to go to St George and PCB to find something but those are both an hour drive, so keep that in mind! Windmark beach was very shell-y and barely wide enough for beach chairs so we had to go to Mexico beach which is about a 10 minute drive. Not a huge deal but not what I was expecting after reading other reviews! Overall, we had a great vacation and loved this property!!

Beautiful house. Very clean and spacious. Easy quick walk to the beach. There are plenty of beach chairs, a great beach wagon and a nice tent available for you to use. Enjoyed having access to a pool. We would stay here again.

Pros: - Great Location:The property is situated in an excellent location, making it easy to access local beaches and shops. - Access to Three Pools: Guests have the luxury of choosing from three nice pools, perfect for relaxation and fun. - Well-Stocked Kitchen: The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to cook meals during your stay. - Washer/Dryer: The availability of a washer and dryer, along with provided laundry pods, made it convenient to keep clothes clean. - Coffee Pods Included:Complimentary coffee pods were a nice touch, adding to the convenience of the stay. -Extra blankets: my kids love throw blankets. Cons: - Missing Pool and Beach Toys: The listing mentioned that pool and beach toys would be available , but they were not available. There were 2 rusty dirty beach chairs. - There is a spigot, but no hose. We really wanted to bring our dogs to the beach to play in the , we chose not to bc access to the hose was not ideal to clean them.

Julie was a very friendly host and even allowed us to check in earlier with no fees or hassles. She is also very responsive and helpful. the place was in great condition and came very well stocked. Only minor complaint we had was that the upstairs bedrooms felt a little bit cramped. The grilling area is communal and small, so it could be difficult funding a spot to grill on a busy weekend. very close to really nice beaches.

Should be more specific with the “beach access “ we had to drive to a decent beach in the area and also there wasn’t a playground for the kids which was one of the reasons I picked this one.

We really enjoy the peace and quiet at Barefoot Cottages. Port St. Joe and Windmark Beach is our favorite place to visit in FL. Thank you William for sharing your beautiful home and your hospitality.

The house was perfect for our family of 5. We were within driving distance to beautiful beaches. Not a ton of options for grocery stores but more than what we needed. Mike was very proactive with checking with us throughout the week. We would definitely recommend!

Absolutely beautiful and adorable cottage. Very comfortable and modern surroundings great decorating felt like at home. Love the cottage layout and so nice to have screened in porches.

Great location in PSJ. About 2 minute drive to the closest beach, 5 minutes from downtown PSJ with its shops and restaurants, and 50 feet from the community pool and hot tub. The house was exactly as described. Very clean, and Allie responded promptly to all our questions. Barefoot Cottages, the beaches, and many restaurants are all dog-friendly! We would stay here again.

Enjoyed the stay, we stayed there before, and the improvements were great. Close to the boat ramp, and short drive to the park.

Perfect little get away and we ended up adding an extra night and the host was very responsive and accommodating. Loved the place. Visit st Joe nutrition in port st Joe on Reid street and if you’re hungry grab a burger at Richeys roadhouse for the best burgers in town.

We enjoyed our stay! We felt right at home and the coffee maker and coffee were perfect and unexpected! We will come back!

Cute cottage! Beth was super responsive and helpful! My family and I evacuated from hurricane Milton! We had to extend our stay and Beth responded within minutes and made the process so easy!

Found this location to avoid hurricane Milton, host Beth was very accommodating, understanding and helpful. Home was exactly as explained and in a great location. In this situation my family felt safe, secure and not disappointed. Would love to come back and enjoy in more favorable circumstances. Thank you Beth

I enjoyed my time at Phish Heads cottage. Having neighbors in the nearby cottages was just the right amount of social interaction; yet, the scenery and nature were the highlights. So nice to jump between bay fishing and beach fishing in a short walk. Not biting? Just walk over to the other side of the peninsula. Cottage was clean and bed comfortable. Kitchen could use some more utensils. It was nice to find a second key indoors, clearly labeled as an additional key. I think I’ll be returning to Scallop Cove Villas.

Had a great time and the cottage was perfect for our needs.. The only one thing that we found lacking was cooling. There needs to be an upgrade in the cooling system. Other than that our trip was perfect.
