But what really made the difference was the kindness of the owner. Very welcoming, available and attentive — you can tell he wants his guests to have a good stay. As always, my stay at Michel's La Galerie Privée was wonderful from start to finish. This is now officially my home away from home, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Michel is a very responsive and considerate host, and the apartment is always pristine. A dream of a stay -- do not sleep on the seasonal, homemade preserves!
