Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Ponta Delgada

This was probably our best Airbnb experience ever! A stunning, stylish oceanfront cottage — a true dream. We traveled with our 7-month-old baby and were amazed to find not only a crib, but also a baby bathtub and even a feeding bottle. Such a thoughtful touch! The house is beautifully decorated, cozy, and fully equipped. It felt like a peaceful retreat — we loved relaxing, watching the waves, and enjoying the privacy. The beds were super comfortable, with quality linens and towels. The home was warm and welcoming, with a lovely patio and even a telescope and binoculars to admire the ocean. There were also delicious local treats waiting for us, which made us feel even more at home. Special thanks for the late check-out — it allowed us to enjoy our final morning stress-free. We absolutely loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat!

A great and unique place to stay! Beautifully maintained. Given the age of the house, the wind can be heard/felt on windy/stormy days. This takes some getting used to. Please know that the house is situated in a beautiful park, with keys to access the park after opening hours. On the lake you can use kayaks, and there are also kids bikes in the shed.

We had a really nice stay here. The location is great to explore the island and the private garden and path to the sea was just fantastic.

We would come back without second thought. Vitor's place was as described and we felt like home right away. Spacious, clean and nicely decorated kitchen (well equipped), living area and bedrooms. The place had all we needed for our 5 days stay. Host was very responsive, helpful and polite. Check in very smooth. We would recommend this place to our friends.

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb!! The space was beautiful and amenities like the pool and hot tub were an amazing bonus!! There were some pretty large beetles that came out during our stay inside the house but host was responsive and assured us they’re harmless and happens with the change of season so it was out of his control. He sent the cleaner back in to deal with the bugs and placed an insecticide as well to help. No issues with cleanliness of the place whatsoever, it was spotless! Also just to note, there is a machine shop of some sort on the other side of the building and did cause quite a bit of noise during the daytime (never earlier than 8:30am) but we became used to it and didn’t mind. Would highly recommend this place!

The property is gorgeous and the natural ocean pool is incredible!! Perfect place to stay on the island for a relaxing vacation. We had a beautiful stay here.

Home was beautiful and full of charm. Yard was huge and great for kids to play in. Overall great place!

I stayed here for a week with my family (including two kids - ages 8 and 10) and we had a fantastic time. The house is perfectly located for exploring Sao Miguel - it is easy to get to all parts of the island - and is very spacious with a beautiful view of the ocean. The recently renovated kitchen is a huge plus too - we had no trouble cooking dinner at home one night (there is a huge grocery store nearby). Laetitia was also a wonderful host, leaving a basket of local treats to welcome us, connecting us with a rental car agency, and otherwise being very helpful.

Perfect airBnB for visiting Ribeira Grande! Ana & Fernando and their family are amazing hosts. The property has a great balance of privacy, and convenient amenities (like the pool and breakfasts in the chapel). The architecture and landscaping of the property are beautiful. 5/5 experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Luis was a fantastic host. He was very accommodating and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. He left a lot of information regarding activities and local restaurants. He deserves top marks as a host. The apartment is lovely. It has lots of space, great lighting and absolutely everything you will need for a great stay. The off road parking is a huge bonus. We had a lovely stay at this apartment and would return in a heartbeat.

If you want to have a good time in a quiet place and a beautiful view, this is the place. In addition, the proximity to tourist attractions is a plus. You have a grocery store less than 2 minutes away which is very convenient. The hosting was excellent. Don't hesitate.

We really enjoyed our stay, the apartment is very close to a popular surf spot, it's just 1 minute walk. The apartment is very modern and having the jakuzi on the terrace was a nice experience. The communication with Ryan was very fast, when there was a problem, he helped immediately.

A somewhat remote but really fantastically beautiful apartment with great views and a friendly host couple. Breakfast is delicious and is served in a very pretty room in the main house, on request there is an egg from the farm's own chickens every morning. We also made good friends with the host's little dog. We really had a great time at Pierre and Catherine's, thank you so much!

We were able to enjoy the comfort and tranquility of the Vila Alegre during our stay in Capelas. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and has a lot of character. Its private garden is beautiful to stroll among the vegetation, trees, flowers and birds or to contemplate it from the small glass living room, our favorite room. The hospitality of our host, Antonio, was exceptional. Fresh flower bouquets were arranged in each room as well as a table in the kitchen of delicious chosen local products! La Vila Alegre fits perfectly into our vacation in the Azores as we had dreamed them: nature bath and authentic charm!

staying at Quinta Vielha was great! Marions is a super host,very nice, friendly and helpful. we felt like home. Her house is very well maintained. It's a beautiful place. She has horses, ducks, hens and some pets. perfect for kids! The apartment has everything you need. the situation is perfect to discover sao miguel. we recommend spend your holidays there!

The apartment was very well equipped and spacious, with easy parking in the area. Perfect location, 10 minutes from downtown by car. Luis was attentive at all times and recommended a lot of restaurants and things to see on the island. Highly recommend this place.

Lotus House was sensational! We were a family group ranging in ages from 17 months old to 67 years old , and the house and property were comfortable and suitable for all ages. We were thrilled to see papayas and bananas growing in the yard. The kitchen really is well equipped- we fell in love with the espresso machine. There are comfortable mattresses on all the beds and plenty of towels and bath supplies. The heated pool, hot tub, and grounds made being at home so much fun. Even when it was 56 degrees and raining we were in the pool, and it was still comfortable. The AL Acores management team was impressively responsive. We had a very minor plumbing issue which was fixed within hours. When we arrived there were diapers in the crib, which was very thoughtful, and when one of the kids needed to see a doctor, we got excellent advice and thoughtful followup check-ins. I've stayed in a lot of airbnbs, and this is definitely one of the best.

Tradicampo is a beautiful place to stay with incredible hosts. I left feeling very relaxed and content. The local produce and recommendations were very generous and helpful! I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the Sao Miguel!

This home has got to be one of the most beautiful BNB's I've stayed at! Like all the other reviews, the pictures don't do it justice! The property is immaculately kept clean, the finish on the home shows impressive craftsmanship, and the views from the private pool is exactly what you need on vacation! It's very private and peaceful. I loved being able to just sit in any of the many benches and just soak it all in. So much care was taken to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we need. The host goes the extra mile in many ways, including providing a welcome kit with snacks and drinks! The host was extremely helpful and responsive and kind. I could go on forever about how wonderful this home and host is, but I recommend you find our for yourself! Don't hesitate - just book it!

Lovely layout, suited our needs well. Easy walk to the trail along the ocean and very close to restaurants and bars. We loved the local flavour of the neighbourhood. A short drive/bus to Ponta Delgada. 15-20 to many adventure spots. We would highly recommend this place.

Great location and a beautiful home. It did have more stairs than we anticipated but was not an issue as two bedrooms are on the entry floor and other three on a level down. Living, dining and kitchen are on the lower third level. The pool did need to be cleaned. The Polaris stopped working before it cleaned the pool but was not of consequence since the weather was still too cool really for swimming. Be aware the hot tub is an inflatable and you’d really only have space for two but it’s on a great deck with nice view to the ocean. There were no restaurants really in walking distance but they are a short drive away and there are many great ones down by the water with beautiful settings. It was very nice to have clothes detergent and dryer sheets in the laundry area. We really appreciated that.

Pedro and his family are super hosts. The home was fantastic and everything was just perfect. A fantastic stay enjoyed by all 8 of us.

João's place was a great home base for our Azores adventure. It's a nice central location on the island, and a beautiful house and area. The whole place was spotless and the kitchen was great for making breakfast and coffee. There is a small grocery store within walking distance, but otherwise a car is required for the area so thankfully parking was very easy. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay at Joao's place. Our kids loved having so much space inside and out to play. The pool had a leak before we arrived, but Joao allowed us to still swim in the half-filled pool which our kids were happy about. It was nice to warm up in the hot tub after the cool pool. There wasn't anything to really walk to, but it was an easy drive to stores and restaurants from the house. This would be a fun house to have a large group stay in. Joao was responsive to our many questions throughout our stay.
