Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Poljane

It was a wonderful vacation in a perfect house with a quiet and very private environment. The pool was great. The house was modern and newly furnished. Just as it was described in the pictures. We'd all like to come back here next year.

Villa Ursa is located right in the heart of a small village. However a tall fence provides a sense of privacy. We visited at the beginning of June and there was almost no people in the village which for us was ideal as we enjoy peace and quiet above else (Lana informed us that during summer season it is a completely different story so have that in mind if you are visiting during July or August). You have a heated indoor pool and as the posting mentions a beach bar with a nice coastline just 10 min walk from the Villa (for us the sea was warm enough to swim in but a lot of people did not go into the water). Inside of the Villa looks modern and traditional at the same time which gives it a nice aesthetic. Lana was a kind host who welcomed us with a local wine bottle, freshly baked bread and a meat platter. We really enjoyed our stay and it is highly likely that we will visit again.

Insect screens in front of the bedroom windows and a TV in each bedroom would be nice. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

This was our second time staying at La Finka, and just like the first time, everything was absolutely perfect. The villa is very clean, well-equipped, and has everything you could possibly need. Ivan is an amazing host – he responds immediately and truly cares about making sure you feel comfortable and welcome. We’ll definitely be coming back and can highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free stay.

nice rustic house. About 4 min drive from the town and 9 min from the beach. Lots of space in the garden, gas and wood grills, lawn chairs and hammocks, and No mosquitoes!. Very quiet to enjoy the view and relax. Kristian was very reachable and met with us for the check -in and to show the location. Narrow road to access but in very good condition.

We were 2 adults and 2 teens (16+14) in the accommodation as a family of 4. We loved the tranquility and seclusion. That was exactly what we wanted. The house is small,but it is completely sufficient. Everything is nicely decorated and placed. Exactly as you can see from the pictures. The outdoor area is simply a dream. Thought out to the smallest corner. We used the outdoor kitchen regularly. We were there now in October and also had good weather. ( an average of 22 degrees☀️) This made very good use of the pool and hot tub. The small bay is also just very nice. We spent a whole day there and were all alone. We highly recommend this place. We will be back. 🫶🏻🇭🇷☀️

I am very attentive to cleanliness and Ante's apartment was really clean and tidy; it is equipped with everything you need for your stay, including the kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook. Ante was available and the stay was great.

Perfect Workation Spot with Amazing Hospitality! We had an incredible stay at Oliver's place! The accommodation was clean, stylish, and super comfortable – everything we needed for a relaxing and productive visit. We were doing a workation, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, making it easy to stay connected and get work done without any issues. It was the perfect balance of work and leisure. The pool was definitely a highlight – clean, refreshing, and a great way to unwind after work hours. What made the experience even more special was the hospitality of our host. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. We received honey snaps and fresh picked cherries. One two evenings, we even grilled together with the host, which was such a fun and unexpected highlight. It felt like staying with friends rather than just booking a place. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended.

We felt really comfortable

The six of us very much enjoyed staying in Matulji. Despite the fact that the garden is on the track, we have not been bothered by this. The train only comes a few times a day. The garden is beautifully maintained and the swimming pool was super nice. The spaces inside were a bit on the warm/confined side, due to the shutters. The amenities were great, the kitchen well equipped and sufficient barbecue tools. Good to know that the hosts live above the accommodation and have to pay a lot of attention to the garden to maintain it so well. As a result, we sometimes missed some privacy, because someone is regularly messing around in the garden while you are at the pool. If you are very particular about your privacy, I recommend reconsidering this stay. Some of us found the chat with the host a few times a day very cozy. Josip was very friendly and super helpful.

Beautifully furnished apartment, modern with everything you need even for a long vacation. Although I couldn't find the hairdryer. Coffee maker, sugar and juice! Everything I needed for one night. Too bad I didn't have more time!

We spent just over two weeks in this great place and felt at home from the first moment. The apartment is really well equipped and was ideal for us as a family. Isak and his in-laws were available and helpful at all times. We got great tips for things to do and had an all-round perfect vacation! Thank you so much!

Toralf and Marina are very hospitable and have served us coffee and cake right after the strenuous drive. Very idyllic location. By the pool you could only hear the birds chirping. You have a view of the sea. Every now and then you get a nice visit from the two cats Mia and Lucy, who are happy about petting. Betty the dear dog also greets you when you come back from a trip. The house has everything needed and more. Medulin also has everything you need: grocery stores, a beautiful harbor with good restaurants and a beach. Always happy to come back. Francesca's land house was simply great for us! It is set in green surroundings up on a hill, totally private, quiet and relaxing! AWESOME VIEW! If you are looking for a place where you can let go of the city stress, you are at the right place here! You need to have a car in order to get the most out of the surroundings. We visited Muggia and Trieste on the Italian side of the border as well as Piran, Portoroz and Koper on the Slovenia side of the border. We loved all the places. In Muggia you have two Despar supermarkets and one MD supermarket (the MD being very close to the one Despar). By car to Muggia is between 6 and 9 minutes. Keep in mind that finding a parking place near the supermarkets can be challenging and they are open only until 19:30 (or eventually 20:00 in summer). If you've been late for the supermarket, we have a hint for you: Go to the San Bartolomeo camping, which is 4 minutes by car from the house. There you will find a small shop and a bar open until 12am! :)

Nothing to add about Emil's cottage, very beautiful, well thought out, warm. It is an energy self-sufficient home which means that you have to be vigilant about your consumption and plan ahead. But Emil's instructions are very clear and it's very interesting. As for the environment, this forest of beech and fir trees is beautiful. We regret only staying 3 nights! If you go and you love the forest, stay longer. Hvala lepa Emil!

We were greeted by Bruno and his family who showed us all the details of their beautiful cabin in perfect Italian and with the utmost kindness. The cabin, very clean and perfectly equipped, is immersed in a dense beech forest with other houses around that keep company. A stone's throw away is the Sviščaki retreat that runs as a trattoria and a bar with a children's playground nearby. Nearby are a few mountain trails immersed in the woods, almost all easily accessible. In short, there were four of us plus a two-year-old girl and we had a beautiful quiet vacation in the middle of nature. Thank you Bruno.

Beautiful house, great view, lovely wood stove. Noisy neighbours: Bronsty deer😜. Nature is very close here. What a wonderful place to disconnect from civilization. Incidentally, great internet coverage (KPN). Being able to make beautiful walks from the house. We were able to charge our electric car for free in Skrad! (Elen network) The Ioniq 5 went smoothly across the forest and gravel paths to the house. Definitely recommend if you are looking for peace!
