Cottage vacation rentals in Point Mugu

This is our 3rd time staying at Joseph & Kelly’s place! It is always a pleasure! They make you feel right at home and are willing to help with any need! We love this place and plan to return very soon!

We had a wonderful stay at Dana’s place! The cottage was decorated wonderfully, was extremely clean and had everything we needed for a terrific stay! Would definitely recommend to others and would definitely stay here again!

One of the most amazing Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. The place is absolutely gorgeous.

Our stay here was quick, but just what we were looking for—peaceful and quiet. Our family of six stayed, and one reason we chose it was because each of our four kids would have their own bed. No pillow barriers needed haha. Speaking of beds, these were the *most* comfortable ones we’ve used at an AirBnB. The space was comfy, inviting, and super cool. We loved looking at all the music industry memorabilia, too; what a neat legacy for Michele to share with her AirBnB guests! One thing to note: the place is a converted garage so it is cooled and heated with a mini-split. It wasn’t turned on when we got there, and we wish it had been because it was a pretty cold, drizzly night (December) and took a long time to heat up. So if you stay here, maybe request that it be turned on in advance of your arrival. I’m sure the property management wouldn’t mind at all because they were nothing but accommodating and welcoming. Our big family felt lucky to find this place to stay while in the area.

I've always wanted to stay at this air bnb and it was better than i could have imagined! I live in the valley, but this is such a great getaway with a beautiful space, amazing views and makes you forget about the city angels the hustle! I will definitely stay here again!!

Beautifully landscaped mountain house with rustic charm and an abundance of views and moments. Lynne is also very communicative and attentive. Dog friendly. Overall a delightful stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this very cute and cozy cottage. It was a very peaceful location and close by a beautiful Walking trail. It had all of the amenities, and we especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the evening.

Great location Great shower One note George was not sure about the check in code and he give me the wrong one I had to call The lance was in general clean but we found dust on the couch and the table and the pillows were also dusty The bikes are really old and two out of four need new tires The towels were only few and kind of old Everything else was great We had great time

Wir sind sehr dankbar dass wir die Zeit in der Hummingbird Retreat verbringen durften. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und unser Kinder wollten gar nicht weg, sie möchten Karen sehr gerne....die auch wirklich ein sehr netter Mensch ist. ich finde die Unterkunft in wirklich noch viel schöner und größer als auf den Bildern, Topangas Flair hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen... wir würden gerne irgendwann wieder an diesen Ort zurückkehren.

We had a wonderful time staying at Darryl’s place! If you love the ocean like we do - this is definitely the place for you! Wake up and fall asleep to the sound of the waves, it has a beautiful, private patio, a beach we have enjoyed during the day and multiple restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Darryl is a fantastic host! He was very accommodating, communicative, gave us recommendations and left us a bottle of wine, bottles of water and snacks! We loved Darryl’s place and highly recommend it! We’ll be back again!

This was an amazing stay for my wife and I's honeymoon. Not only is it a 10 minute walk to the beach, but has quick and easy access to Santa Barbara and Ventura. Reina was kind, helpful, and was always available if we had any questions!

Geraldine and Tessa were fabulous hosts! Very communicative they absolutely fell in love with their property! Looking forward to returning back

This house is one of 3 remaining of 12 identical houses moved there in 1940 to be employee housing for the married workers on the Adohr Dairy Farm, at one time the world’s largest Guernsey herds and one of the largest dairies in the world at the time. The single workers lived in bunkhouses up nearer the office. The houses were moved here from a military base. This area was referred to as Adohr Village. When we lived here in 1964-65 the houses rented for $25 per month. There are limited amenities, we had no coffee and only salt & pepper, but it is balanced out by the unique rural location. Much easier to locate in daylight, and down a bumpy dirt road.

I stay here anytime I am in topanga. Such a lovely oasis. Cooked myself dinner and breakfast, sat in the beautifully clean sauna (heats up quick), took a bath outside, napped in the hammock, and was on my way. Perfect place to stay, 10/10.

This was an absolutely beautiful stay! Highly recommend this space and this host. Just a wonderful trip from start to finish and we are so grateful to have stayed at SWELL! Side note that you may not see from the photos- the natural lighting inside was beautiful all throughout the day. Felt like we were in a movie with how beautiful and cute it was inside! Hummingbird Cottage is adorable. The bed was so comfortable and the sound of the fountain was soothing. The house is very small, so not suited to someone really tall. Our daughter stayed in the treehouse and loved it. The location was great for catching the boat to the Channel Islands.

This was a 10/10 stay. The cottage was absolutely magical and Ronald and Elle were very flexible, communicative and thoughtful. The cottage is bright, cozy and the perfect place to stay. Fresh flowers and lemons as well as water and some toast for breakfast. :) Definitely book your stay here if you are in the area! Would come back for sure.

Fawn’s place was very clean and cozy. She had everything needed to have an excellent stay at the beach. I wish I could have stayed longer. Fawn is very polite and very friendly. I highly recommend her place for anyone wanting to stay in Oxnard. 5 stars all day.🙂

Such an adorable place! We loved it! Wish we had stayed an extra night. A very short walk to the beach. Super cute and friendly tavern around the corner. Limited food available within walking distance, but a well equipped kitchen. Though we don’t need them, there were lots of beach supplies! Nanette was very responsive in helping us recover a lost item! Would absolutely recommend this location!

Lynne was a great host , very helpful and quick response. The house was cozy , private and peaceful. The bathhouse was the reason for the visit and it was perfect . Water was nice and hot it’s nice that there are two tubs next to each other too felt like a spa getaway.
