Monthly Rentals in Poggio Aquilone

I stayed in this little house one night. What can I say, the owners are super friendly and always available for anything! The house is super clean, tidy and very cozy (which is not obvious). There's no shortage of comfort, I almost felt like I was at home. I find the location optimal, I was first in Perugia and the next day in Spoleto, both very close to Marsciano. I will definitely be back to continue visiting this beautiful region that is Umbria on weekends.

Charming little cottage to unwind in a small, secluded village to escape the hustle and bustle. During our stay it was very hot, all the pleased we were to find air conditioning in the bedroom and cool off in the pool. We had a lovely stay and happy to think about it.

Manfredi’s countryside cottage is an absolute gem! We spent a blissful 7 days relaxing around the gorgeous pool and eating Al fresco with a beautiful view over the surrounding countryside. The cottage has everything you need, is private and very comfortable and stays surprisingly cool and breezy even in the hottest weather (there is no air con - but don’t let this put you off). The pool is a beautiful temperature and the outdoor BBQ and dining area is great. Take on board all of Manfredi’s local recommendations. Of his suggestions our 2 favourites were: Monte Castello de Vibio for a wander around a beautiful hilltop village (visit the pasticceria there) Restaurant Bivio del Moro - some of the best food we’ve eaten in Italy - get the Guanciale starter - book ahead. One week was not enough - thank you Manfredi ❤️

I felt at home. With the whole family in tow, including grandparents, we had a great time. House with large indoor and outdoor spaces, with no disturbance nearby and no danger around. Well-kept green lawn, spectacular for letting our dog play and run after the long drive. Great starting point for many destinations, within 30/40 minutes by car. Congratulations to Federica for the impeccable management of the house.
