Shepherds Farm - Period Farmhouse

LaurenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What a wonderful week we had, beautiful home that we didnt want to leave. Comfy beds and had everything we needed. The host was really good with communication and the listing described the place beautifully. The gardens were stunning and the white rose on the driveway smelt divine! We left feeling incredibly relaxed. The log burner was beautiful in the evening when the weather turned a little. The local area is lovely for going for walks and the pub down the road is full of really lovely people and regular live music. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you Mark xx

The Nutshell. Rural retreat

GemmaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Wonderful place to stay for Christmas a deux (plus dog!) Lesley and Clive had put up some Christmas decorations as well as a cute hamper which we really appreciated. Despite being dark and wet, we enjoyed our walks to two of the local pubs for dinner (no spooky sightings but we hadn't come for the ghosts!) On our first night we arrived in time to see the fantastic tractor parade. Lottie (our spaniel ) loved it too!

Gorgeous cottage with lovely grounds. Great that both bedrooms have both king beds and en-suites makes all the difference. The hosts had given a really great welcome with apple juice, butter, milk, bread, eggs on arrival - such a lovely touch! The cottage really did have everything you needed.

Romantic Lakeside Cabin - A Private Special Place

AnnRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Idyllic! Beautiful spot, dear cabin. It is as described. DO download, or print out! any maps, info you might need, as the internet is spotty, as is usual in the countryside. The 3words app works a treat! it's a magical peaceful place, so many birds, a tree house, a swing, a little dock to watch the waterbirds and the light shifting on the pond. The cabin is cozy, bed ever so comfortable, shower lovely. I had a good book-- but didn't read much because it was just too entrancing to swing, listen, look.

Stunning farm stay near Pluckley

NickyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Had such a lovely time staying at Brown’s Kitchen Barn. Tash and Ross were really helpful accommodating and friendly, even bringing us fresh eggs one evening. The barn is lovely tucked away in the middle of the countryside and with so many fun animals roaming the grounds. The pygmy goats were hilarious, and the squabbles between the geese and the ducks had us in stitches. So much personality. It was exactly what we needed for a really peaceful switch off.

The Studio

HeatherRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Tanja's place needs 6 Stars! The studio is perfect for one and cozy for two. The space is well thought out and there's everything you need. The log fire is a bonus on colder days. There are beautiful walks up the byway and across the fields into Biddenden or you can cycle along the quieter roads if you plan carefully. Sissinghurst, Great Dixter, Hole Park and other beautiful gardens are all easily reached as well as pretty towns such as Tenterden, Rye and Cranbrook. Headcorn has a rail station with trains to London, Canterbury, Dover. There's a reliable bus service to Headcorn from Biddenden. Corner shop in Biddenden but nearest supermarket is in Tenterden. There's so much to see and do and after a busy day, the Studio is wonderful to come back to. It's also private and not overlooked but Tanja and partner are welcoming and very helpful if needed. I had an amazing 2 month stay and was sad to leave. Lovely people and lovely place. You can't go wrong with The Studio.
