Beachfront vacation rentals in Playa Zipolite

Our stay at Casa Puesta was a remarkable one. Set high on a hill (and yes, the climb is long and steep), the place resembles something close to magical. The views of the ocean and distant hills, the variety of birds and the songs they sing, the lizards (both large and small) that one discovers hanging out on a nearby tree, the enormous bright and starlit sky that greets you every evening following the most beautiful sunset - it's a piece of paradise that one just gratefully settles into. The physical space was beyond comfortable and provided nearly everything that one needs for a long stay. Yael, our awesome host, was always there for us when we needed him and then some. He's a great guy; very friendly and personable. His kindness and attentiveness did not go unnoticed, and we're very grateful to him for helping make our stay such a positive one. Casa Puesta is a place that my partner and I found difficult to leave - and one that we, hopefully, plan on returning to again and again.

Increíble lugar para relajarse, prácticamente parecía que la playa era solo para nosotros, super bonita, limpia, buena comida de los negocios cercanos. La casa en muy buenas condiciones, el aire funcionaba super bien y las camas suuper cómodas. Los host super atentos y amables. Amamos nuestras vacaciones y volveríamos a regresar sin dudarlo (:

Tuvimos una estancia maravillosa en esta hermosa casa grande en la montaña. La ubicación es ideal: siempre corre una brisa fresca que mantiene la casa agradable y ventilada. La vista, especialmente desde el último piso, es espectacular. La cocina está completamente equipada y permite cocinar cómodamente. En toda la casa se encuentran pequeños detalles que hacen la estancia aún más placentera: desde sartenes y especias hasta filtros de café y cafetera. Todo lo necesario está presente, lo cual es un gran punto a favor. La casa está perfectamente ubicada entre Playa Muerto y Playa Boquilla, ambas accesibles a pie. Playa Muerto está a unos diez minutos caminando y Playa Boquilla a unos quince. Ambas tienen su encanto: Playa Muerto es más tranquila y Playa Boquilla un poco más amplia, incluso con una pequeña zona de playa privada. Lo que realmente hizo especial nuestra estancia fue la atención de Brenda y Abel. Fueron increíblemente amables, la comunicación fue rápida, clara y cordial. I

La experiencia en esta casa fue inigualable. La ubicación es simplemente perfecta, con vistas impresionantes a la playa y acceso directo a dos playas hermosas. La casa cuenta con todo lo necesario y es muy cómoda, con detalles súper agradables. El anfitrión fue sumamente amable y atento, siempre dispuesto a ayudar en lo que fuera necesario. Sin duda, es un lugar al que regresaría y recomendaría ampliamente.

The veranda overlooking the beach with that view is breathtaking. It’s totally gorgeous, with comfy sofas and swinging hammock chairs to chill out in with a lovely breeze all the time. The open plan kitchen that opens out onto the veranda is very well equipped with new kitchen facilities. The two bedrooms have very comfy beds, and the fans are very efficient so we were never too hot. My only critique would be the shower pressure isn’t amazing but apart from that this is a total gem secluded but still so close to all the beaches and restaurants. Would recommend to everyone!

We loved our stay at la Casa del Pintor! The house exceeded our expectations based on the pictures- it was perfect for our group of friends. We loved the open layout, the breeze and sound of the waves coming through the screened windows, the kitchen was great for cooking big meals, the pool was lovely. Playa Mermejita is magical and the location was perfect. We felt very taken care of by Cecelio and Nene, great drinks by Jose, a fabulous home cooked lunch from Mercedes. Our stay in Mazunte was so special- we will be back!

Great spot, nice and private with an epic view. If you want to get away from the crowds but be in a nice safe home then this is the place. The pictures don’t do it justice. Listing was fairly accurate. Unfortunately the pool was out of order and the washing machine doesn’t work but the kitchen was very well appointed, it even had a rice cooker. Thank you Jesse, would highly recommend.

Estancia agradable. Ana Laura es una excelente host, siempre pendiente de todo y con mucha iniciativa y paciencia. La propiedad está un poco descuidada pero en general fue una buena experiencia.

El lugar es tal cual en las fotos , no le pides nada , unas vistas increíbles , vecinos muy cordiales y atentos , Alan estuvo siempre al pendiente de cualquier cosa que ocurriera , vale la pena el alojamiento cuenta con todo as las amenidades mencionadas la alberca siempre está a buena temperatura realmente es un lugar para volver a regresar sin ningún problema

We booked this room after staying a few nights in a studio at Soiree, and we are really glad we did. The amenities in this room do not compare to the other room. We had a water cooler that chilled the water, two TVs, much more space and cookware. It was night and day. If you are staying longer (we were there a week), I would highly recommend getting one of the larger rooms. You won't be disappointed. Several times we enjoyed getting into the splash pool to cool off and various people would make food to sell on-site (tacos/Caribbean bowls) which was handy if you didn't want to venture out. There are several places close by to grab food: Noga, Alquimista, Bacco, Samsara, Orale, Maquil, Cosmic are all within a 5-minute walk. The fish in tomato sauce at Bacco is probably the best I've ever had! The town is nearby, as well, with many more options.

A wonderful stay from start to finish. The apartment was immaculate—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with modern touches throughout. The host was exceptional: incredibly responsive, attentive, and genuinely helpful with any questions or needs. The property itself is stunning, and the pool area is absolutely beautiful—perfect for relaxing. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will absolutely stay here again.

Espectacular la ubicación el espacio muy conveniente y la atención de Johnny de primera. Las vistas hacia el Pacífico y la playa La Mina muy recomendables

Es un lugar muy tranquilo y privado con una vista increíble! Es mejor que en las fotos. Tuvimos que movernos en taxi para llegar al pueblo, pero el bugalow está muy bien equipado, la cama es cómoda, el baño es amplio, cuenta con dos mesitas en el balcón y sillas para descansar viendo el mar. Bajamos a la playa, caminamos de 10-15 minutos. La piscina estaba en mantenimiento, sin embargo nos lo comentaron con anticipación.

I had a great time staying at this place for a week. Both Jose (groundskeeper) and Michel (owner) were very responsive and answered all questions instantly. Jose was there every morning to fill up the water tanks and help with little things like sweeping a bug out of my room and grabbing extra toilet paper for me. (Thank you!) WiFi worked great! The view is absolutely incredible from the patio and the bed, and the location was perfect for me—super close to hridaya yoga where I took classes and right in between Mazunte and San Agustinillo so I walked to either town easily depending on where I wanted to explore that day. The patio also has two reclined chairs out there that was perfect for star gazing at night. It does get hot in the room because there is no AC and the sun shines directly in to the room but you can take cold showers, use the ceiling fan, and avoid staying in the room during the daytime. Like the other reviews said it gets noisy but it didn’t really bother me

We had a great stay! Being on the beach made it so easy for everyone to do their own thing! House was great. Lived eating outside every meal. Staff were so helpful and friendly. We would definitely come back!

El lugar es igual a las fotos. Se puede ingresar a la playa caminando unos 10 minutos. Tuvimos mala suerte porque cuando fuimos había mar de fondo y no se recomendaba entrar. De ahí en fuera, todo perfecto con el lugar. Esta muy cerca de Mazunte con mucho lugares para comer.

Billy's home is absolutely beautiful. It was tricky to find, and I was very grateful to Gonzalo who came to find us when we got lost in the roads with no service. One thing about this area (including the top of the hill) is that there is truly no 3G or LTE on our phones, which feels scary in case someone hurts themselves or there is any kind of emergency. Luckily we found the hotel on the bottom of the cliff who let us use their Wifi. I would add an emergency landline phone to the house or at least a First Aid Kit.

This was our second time at this beautiful castle-cottage on a hill, newly crowned with a massive shade roof, hammock and little bathroom stall. Like something out of a book! can't wait to come back!

Beautiful place with stunning views and creative decor. Very well furnished with all you need. The kitchen was especially well equipped with nice cookware and dishes. It was quite hot in the living area but that's how the coast is. Unfortunately the sea was too rough to really swim below the house during our stay and we also got sick, but the house was a soothing place to recover; Liz was helpful with recommendations and her helper, Mari made "ponche" for us. Would stay again if we ever return to San Agustinillo!

We had a great time here. The hosts, Jaqueline and Mario were VERY responsive and helpful. Although there were other people staying there, J & M made you feel as if you were the only ones. The pool was an added bonus that we enjoyed every day! We would definitely recommend Natural Pacifica to our friends!
