Beachfront vacation rentals in Playa San Benito

My family and I have been to Charly's place twice and we love it. We will keep coming back because the location is privileged, just a few steps from the sea. The beach is very nice and the new pool is fantastic for our children. Also, Charly is very warm and friendly, and made us feel at home. The only thing I recommend is to bring everything for the kitchen. I mean cooking oil, napkins, coffee, trash bags, etc. because there's none of that. Otherwise, everything was excellent. We highly recommend this nice accommodation 👌🏻

The house is very nice, very well furnished both in furniture and kitchen utensils, tastefully decorated and very much in keeping with the place. The view is beautiful with the sea in front, a private place without crowds and quiet.

We loved everything about this house and location. Mayo was quick to respond when we had questions. The location was beautiful

A wonderfully peaceful getaway! Can't believe we found such a place! Far from the hustle and bustle of most of the tourist areas, but easily accessible by car, Rodrigo's place was an oasis of calm. It is right on the beach, and you could walk for miles without seeing anyone else on the weekdays. It is a 2 story condo with the three well decorated bedrooms upstairs, along with their bathrooms. The master bedroom looks out right on the ocean. The downstairs is spacious and then has a lot of outdoor rooms too, as well as a beautifully maintained plunge pool. The bed was comfortable, AC's worked (though we often just used the fans), and the kitchen has lovely utensils, pans, and basic spices and necessities for cooking. We were very comfortable in Rodrigo's place - it was even better than advertised. We did need a bit of help on how to operate the door lock, and Rodrigo was able to clear it up for us with a phone call. Otherwise, everything worked perfectly!

I went with my family and it was just spectacular. The house is spacious, bright and super comfortable, perfect for resting and enjoying together. It has a beautiful ocean view, and hearing the waves at night was magical. The kitchen is well-equipped, the rooms are cool and cozy, and the garden has direct beach access. We spent our days walking on the sand, watching incredible sunsets, and having family dinners outdoors. Definitely a place I want to go back to. Ideal to get away and recharge surrounded by nature and good company.

The house is fantastic for families or friends. It's very close to downtown Progreso but right where the esplanade ends, so it's very quiet and the beach is perfect and uncrowded most of the time. Abisai is very kind and helps with everything you need. We had a great time ☺️👍🏻

An amazing property to spend a few days on vacation with the family. Our host responded almost immediately and was always attentive to us. The house is amazing and very spacious. Just a couple of photos need updating. It really is the perfect place to rest. There are pizzas within walking distance and a man who brings fresh seafood every day.

The place was very homey. Typical older beach house feel, but had everything we needed. The AC in the bedrooms made it very comfortable at night and the fans in the main areas kept it tolerable even on the hottest days. The best part of the house is the back patio with private pool and the immediate beach access right off the patio. Super beautiful and relaxing. Sunsets were beautiful from the back patio. We found tons of really neat shells almost every day, just walking the beach a bit. The ocean was calm and shallow most mornings and my 7 year old daughter loved swimming in it. Most days we saw no one on the beach. The water pressure in the showers was what you would expect from an older house in a small Mexican town. The provided sand toys were really great for my daughter. Overall it was a great stay and we’d recommend it.

From day one Christine was on the lookout, super flexible and friendly, the house has a privileged location and has everything you need (and even more), close to establishments to shop or go out to eat-cenar, the pool and the beach were that plus that made the wonderful trip, do not miss the sunsets or sunrises on the beach or on the shore of the pool, definitely 10 of 10, thank you very much for all your attention 😊

very good place to be on the weekend. The host was very attentive and always responded. the house is very nice, we were left extra amenities that that the truth is almost no one does but here it was very worth it.

Juan's house is a very pleasant and comfortable, quiet and safe place. A fascinating view. A very suitable room layout. Highly recommended to enjoy a few days of rest. You feel like spending a new year in that paradise.

So happy that we have found this place ! We stayed almost 6 weeks at this beautifull house. The 3 rooms are just nearly perfect honestly, even if nothing is. We cooked A LOT so the kitchen well equiped was a must for us ! At any moment we could rely on Manuel for anything from help to solving stuff with the house ! We were all alone for the full duration of our trip so it was very intimate and quiet. The pool and the place near the sea was our playground with the kids :) Know that there is a big contruction site next to the house. At start we were a bit scared for many reasons but mexican workers were not to loud during our stay. Keith is responsive and he made us feel like our well being was important for him !

Everything is very clean, well organized, quite pleasant

The host Alex and his wife hosted us very well. We were immediately charmed by the outdoor living space including the pool and the ocean at our feet. The interior was also very good and decorated in a modern style. The kitchen open to the dining room and living room were much appreciated and the large patio doors gave us beautiful lighting and stunning ocean views. The rooms were large but be advised that the beds are small (double) but comfortable. Points to consider: if you book on the weekend, expect to be surrounded by neighbors who come to party at their "chalet" and compete for the loudest music. Nothing relaxing or pleasant. During the week, on the other hand, it's quiet and pleasant. There were small spiders on the kitchen counter and we couldn't stand having them in our food. Overall it was a great stay and we would highly recommend it, car required.

We went on a two-day vacation with the family… the place was excellent. Just like in the pictures. Always attentive to our stay. We had a great time. We would definitely come back.

Helena was always very Quick respond to all our needs and concerns , and having the Caretakers Juan and Ginny living on the entrance to the property was quite convenient,they were a very nice couple and also very helpful to us, even though they were on the property they were still about .4 km from the main house, great beach for long walks, I think it’s also a must to rent a car if staying more than a week even though public transportation is available into progreso etc.English is a little less spoken in this area however the locals are very welcoming. A little difficult if your a golfer most courses in the Mérida area are private,but you can book at La Ceiba at a premium price.I would highly recommend the property and this area of the Yucatán

We had a really nice time in Progreso. The house is beautiful with the private beach and everything is as described. Alejandrina was really helpful and nice. Very close to the accommodation is a big construction site. But there wasn’t much noice and we weren’t bothered. We would definitely stay again.

The place has an excellent oceanfront location, it is definitely a very peaceful place to spend with family. We had no issues during our stay. I would just add that they don't have a lot of privacy because it is wing of another house and there is no division. We were lucky that we were alone for two nights and were able to enjoy the tranquility and privacy. The house has an excellent ocean view, is very well equipped and the manager was very kind all the time. Only the bathrooms need a little more attention as they were a little dusty and neglected. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

I loved the attention we received via message at all times, the power went out and I loved that they had a quick solution, the hosts were super friendly and the place was beautiful and quiet for a family, Oxxo nearby and several places to visit no more than 30 min away. 🤗 Without a doubt, when I return I would stay with them 10/10. The only thing is that we were traveling with a senior citizen and it was difficult for them to go up to the rooms because there is nothing to hold on to on the stairs, apart from that everything was beautiful 💗

The place is identical to the photos, everything was very pleasant and beautiful. The only detail is that the services were not complete: during the entire stay we had no internet and in our particular case, among the guests was a child with a sensory disability who is regulated with his favorite movies and the interest in fixing the situation by the host was zero; he only gave us long and that it was not their issue. Another detail was one of the air conditioners, specifically the air in the back room was not working properly.

Casa Wajus is nothing but a piece of paradise!!! Patricia our host was wonderful, she communicated in a friendly and respectful manner and quick to respond. My family and I loved it!!!!
