Very secure gated community. Monkeys greeted us at the gate! Wonderful back porch with lovely pool! Kitchen was really well stocked. Two great beaches near by, Playa Avellanas our favorite. Lola's restaurant on the beach is wonderful. Playa Negra has the turtle research center there! Don't miss the Cafes, Floresta and Corazon!! Ron our host was great. answering all questions and helping us out with delivering super glue to us when my husbands glasses broke.

Amazing place super close to the beach and great restaurants! It has everything you'll need for a vacation time in Langosta/Tamarindo area.

The house is nicer then the pictures! Early check-in was a plus. Secluded, no neighbors. Safe, private parking✅ Nice view✅ Hot water✅ Strong AC✅

Great location, very private and 7 min walk to the beach. Unique style home ideal for 2 couples or family with older kids. Eden Properties was very good too.

Olga’s place was amazing! Closer to town than we thought. The space and pool were perfect. There were three of us, but you could easily accommodate three couples. Olga checked in on us and made sure we had all of the amenities we needed. Would stay here again!

My family of 5 had an amazing time here! Our three boys (16, 13, and 8) loved the house, the pool, and the great vibe here. The house and surroundings are even better than the pictures, which is saying something since the pictures made it look like paradise. Monica was extremely responsive—more so than any host I’ve ever dealt with previously. They have everything you could possibly need for your stay. The area is gorgeous and Playa Grande is a cute town with great restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

The host was very responsive with suggestions for my teenaged son to enjoy local surfing areas and options for local places to eat (Lola's and Tiki Hut are fabulous!)

La villa es hermosa, cómoda y privada. Jefrey es un excelente anfitrión, es amable y accesible. Nuestra estadía fue en época lluviosa por lo que la calle estaba en muy mal estado, tomarlo en cuenta si vas con un auto tipo sedán, y la villa está un poquito alejada del pueblito donde se pueden comprar comestibles. Dejando esto de lado, es un lugar que vale totalmente la pena visitar.

5 Sterne sind zu wenig. Unsere Zeit in dieser Unterkunft war unvergesslich! Die Gastgeber Guido und Krista waren unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar. Sie haben schnell auf jede Frage geantwortet, waren geduldig und haben uns das Gefühl gegeben, rundum willkommen zu sein. Die Unterkunft selbst ist ein Traum – super sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und mit einem fantastischen Ausblick. Die Lage ist ruhig und man ist vollkommen von der Natur umgeben. Wer eine Auszeit vom Alltag sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist ein kleines Abenteuer, aber für uns war genau das Teil des Erlebnisses – spannend und absolut lohnenswert! Besonders empfehlen können wir das Frühstück in Carmens Pulpería – frisch, lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. In der Umgebung gibt es außerdem tolle Ausflugsziele. Wir können diese Unterkunft und die Gastgeber wirklich wärmstens empfehlen. Wer hier nicht bucht, verpasst was ganz besonderes. Einfach machen – es lohnt sich!

Our two-night stay was absolutely magical! The house is such a happy space with plenty of natural lighting in every corner. It served as both the ideal launching pad for our adventures and a blissful sanctuary during those hot afternoon hours when a siesta became essential. The backyard was an oasis with beautiful almond trees providing shade while we lounged in the hammock. There's a lot at home to keep everyone busy - board games, toys and puzzles. But most importantly, the location was perfect. We visited 3 wonderful beaches during our stay here, all within a short drive. Several restaurants and cafes nearby too. It took us 1.5 hours to drive to Liberia airport from here, so that was another plus. We'd recommend staying here if you are visiting the area. There is something for everyone!

I’ve stayed here multiple times and intend on staying in the future. It’s a great place if you’re near Liberia.

It's a beautiful cabin with lots of character. We enjoyed walks in the morning around the trail. My favorite part was coming back at night and enjoying the hot tub while it rained. There were two gentlemen on staff who were so kind to locate and find sloths in the trees for me, which I would not have spotted without their help. One even Brough binoculars for us.

Lucas y compañía nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Muy atentos a todo, tuvimos un pequeño incidente con la Villa, y de inmediato nos cambiaron otra, para reparar el daño menor q tenía. Todo está impecable, como nuevo. La ubicación es perfecta, zona muy tranquila, y cerca de todo! Volveremos sin duda!!!

This place is AMAZING! We came here on our honeymoon and were blown away by the beautiful surroundings and the attentiveness of the hosts. The breakfast provided was so nice, and felt like a feast! Even more enjoyable sitting and eating the meal in their outdoor common area, you truly feel like you’re just sitting on a mountain. It was lovely getting to know the hosts. They provided us with fun recommendations on things to do. We drove down off the mountain one of the days and took surf lessons in Samara! One evening we drove about 15 minutes down the road to eat dinner at Restaurante Teosinte (highly recommend checking that out while you’re in the area). Be sure to pay attention to their specific instructions on how to get there, those were very helpful. Especially having a 4x4 is very necessary. The hosts have created a fantastic stay in the mountains of Costa Rica and I’m so grateful they did and offer it available to be enjoyed by others! 10,000x recommend this place!

Absolutely loved the peaceful, private location of this Airbnb! Bernd was very communicative and left detailed instruction of what’s around the area to what was available to use at the house. We loved so many things about this place the list would go on and on. Thank you Bernd for allowing us to experience such beauty.

We had a great stay here at Emmanuel's place. It is a very peaceful and quite neighborhood. The place looks just like the pictures and has all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. I went with my GF and my dog and we definitely will go back. Emmanuel is a great host and he gave us lots of recommendations and was always responsive. Access is for every type of car ( we dont have a 4x4 and didn't found any problem). Don't hesitate to book.

If you want peaceful and remote, this is the place for you! We stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful, relaxing time. Giselle’s place was less than 5 min from Playa Coco, which was the best beach in the area (we didn’t surf but seemed like everyone that did also went there). There are not a ton of restaurants in the area, but as it’s easy to cook in the full kitchen and enjoy the beautiful views from the Airbnb, I’d recommend bringing your own groceries, striking up a fire and settling in. Watched the birds come in every morning from bed!

Nuestra estadía en esta casa fue simplemente increíble. La ubicación es perfecta, cerca de la playa, en una zona tranquila y rodeada de naturaleza. La casa es muy cómoda, limpia y bien equipada, con todos los detalles pensados para una estancia relajante. Lo que más disfrutamos fue la piscina privada, ideal para refrescarse después de un día de sol. Además, los espacios al aire libre son amplios y acogedores, perfectos para compartir en familia o con amigos. El anfitrión fue muy amable, atento y siempre disponible para ayudarnos con cualquier duda. Sin duda, superó nuestras expectativas. Recomiendo este lugar al 100% y definitivamente volveríamos sin pensarlo. ¡Gracias por una experiencia tan linda!

If you are looking for a unique Costa Rican experience, this is the place for you. The house backs up to a rainforest, where you will enjoy indoor/outdoor living, encounter Howler monkeys swinging from the trees, birds chirping, the sound of rain falling against the leaves. And yes there were a few critters, but that was to be expected, especially since we visiting during the beginning of the rainy season. The beds are cozy and the house is less than 10 minutes from town, the beach, restaurants and shopping. David was responsive and made great recommendations. Our experience was definitely memorable.

This place is stunning! It's up in the hills and super quiet. This modern home was beautiful and immaculate and had everything we needed. All the glass windows remind you that you are in the jungle and to slow down, what an amazing space. Claudia the property manager is fantastic and responsive. This rental is a treasure and feels like a real treat. Thank you for sharing it 🙏

We will definitely be back. This simple quiet getaway was exactly what we were looking for. One of the better sea container homes we’ve stayed in. A large spacious outdoor area with bbq, great lighting, good parking, and all the tools you need to cook a gourmet meal.
