Very secure gated community. Monkeys greeted us at the gate! Wonderful back porch with lovely pool! Kitchen was really well stocked. Two great beaches near by, Playa Avellanas our favorite. Lola's restaurant on the beach is wonderful. Playa Negra has the turtle research center there! Don't miss the Cafes, Floresta and Corazon!! Ron our host was great. answering all questions and helping us out with delivering super glue to us when my husbands glasses broke.

Amazing place super close to the beach and great restaurants! It has everything you'll need for a vacation time in Langosta/Tamarindo area.

Great place to stay! We loved the jungle feel at casa abejas and the salt water pool was amazing.

Great location, very private and 7 min walk to the beach. Unique style home ideal for 2 couples or family with older kids. Eden Properties was very good too.

We stayed for a week and really felt at home! The house was cozy and very comfortable and had everything we needed for a longer stay. Every little detail was taken care of. The area is also quiet and peaceful. It was a wonderful experience! Thank you so much for all the help and rcommendations 🙏

My family of 5 had an amazing time here! Our three boys (16, 13, and 8) loved the house, the pool, and the great vibe here. The house and surroundings are even better than the pictures, which is saying something since the pictures made it look like paradise. Monica was extremely responsive—more so than any host I’ve ever dealt with previously. They have everything you could possibly need for your stay. The area is gorgeous and Playa Grande is a cute town with great restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

From the moment we booked Vanessa was very responsive & knowledgeable. She was able to provide all the insight we needed to make our trip a memorable one. She went out of her way to make sure she was there when we checked in which was really nice & caring. She checked in with us via chat during our stay to make sure everything was going smooth. The view & villa were spectacular and all we needed as a couple to be able to rest & relax. If your a big beach person def recommend checking out Playa Cochal, a short commute from the villa. Everything you expect. Great home, great host. Very clean, nice pool. Excellent communication. Only the surf teacher that was recomended wasn’t that good but that’s not on the host in my opinion.

The host was very responsive with suggestions for my teenaged son to enjoy local surfing areas and options for local places to eat (Lola's and Tiki Hut are fabulous!)

The villa is beautiful, comfortable and private. Jefrey is an excellent host, he is friendly and approachable. Our stay was in rainy season so the street was in very bad condition, take it into account if you go with a sedan type car, and the villa is a little far from the village where you can buy groceries. Leaving this aside, it's a place that's totally worth visiting.

Logan’s place was an absolute paradise. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there! The pool is amazing and a lot of fun! The garden is beautiful and brings so many different kinds of nature to watch. We saw something different everyday. His staff is very helpful and friendly. It was the best place to celebrate our 25th anniversary! Thank you!

Our two-night stay was absolutely magical! The house is such a happy space with plenty of natural lighting in every corner. It served as both the ideal launching pad for our adventures and a blissful sanctuary during those hot afternoon hours when a siesta became essential. The backyard was an oasis with beautiful almond trees providing shade while we lounged in the hammock. There's a lot at home to keep everyone busy - board games, toys and puzzles. But most importantly, the location was perfect. We visited 3 wonderful beaches during our stay here, all within a short drive. Several restaurants and cafes nearby too. It took us 1.5 hours to drive to Liberia airport from here, so that was another plus. We'd recommend staying here if you are visiting the area. There is something for everyone!

Lucas and company made us feel right at home. Very attentive to everything, we had a small incident with the Villa, and they immediately changed us to another one, to repair the minor damage it had. Everything is spotless, like new. The location is perfect, very quiet area, and close to everything! We will definitely be back!!!

Absolutely loved the peaceful, private location of this Airbnb! Bernd was very communicative and left detailed instruction of what’s around the area to what was available to use at the house. We loved so many things about this place the list would go on and on. Thank you Bernd for allowing us to experience such beauty.

This place is AMAZING! We came here on our honeymoon and were blown away by the beautiful surroundings and the attentiveness of the hosts. The breakfast provided was so nice, and felt like a feast! Even more enjoyable sitting and eating the meal in their outdoor common area, you truly feel like you’re just sitting on a mountain. It was lovely getting to know the hosts. They provided us with fun recommendations on things to do. We drove down off the mountain one of the days and took surf lessons in Samara! One evening we drove about 15 minutes down the road to eat dinner at Restaurante Teosinte (highly recommend checking that out while you’re in the area). Be sure to pay attention to their specific instructions on how to get there, those were very helpful. Especially having a 4x4 is very necessary. The hosts have created a fantastic stay in the mountains of Costa Rica and I’m so grateful they did and offer it available to be enjoyed by others! 10,000x recommend this place!

We felt very comfortable in the beautiful casita of cally and scott. On the terrace with the pool opposite the rainforest and yet central in Samara and not far from the beach, you could relax wonderfully. And listen to the howler monkeys and birds. Even a hummingbird came to the property. Cally and Scott were super accessible. Her explanations regarding the locks etc. were simple and good. Overall, we found a few too many rules for our taste, but that also made everything clear. The decor of the house is tasteful, which we loved.

Giselle was such a wonderful host! She was always there if we needed anything, and her place is magnificent! She gave me some helpful composting tips as well! Ha ha, freeze your compost! We took Yoga together, she is such a joy and sweet woman with a rental unit that was perfectly described, and exactly like the photos! We slept like angels and had a wonderful stay. Marbella had the best restaurants around with the friendliest community and people! Thanks so much

If you are looking for a unique Costa Rican experience, this is the place for you. The house backs up to a rainforest, where you will enjoy indoor/outdoor living, encounter Howler monkeys swinging from the trees, birds chirping, the sound of rain falling against the leaves. And yes there were a few critters, but that was to be expected, especially since we visiting during the beginning of the rainy season. The beds are cozy and the house is less than 10 minutes from town, the beach, restaurants and shopping. David was responsive and made great recommendations. Our experience was definitely memorable.

Spending my 50th birthday here was magical—truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Krista and Guido go above and beyond to ensure guests feel at home. The house sits atop a mountain with stunning views of the valley and ocean. Each evening, we were serenaded by thousands of birds—pure magic. I spent hours in the hammock listening to nature and unwinding. The bed linens and pillows were exceptional—a rare treat in CR. Thoughtful touches like organic coffee, honey, and pantry staples made cooking a breeze. The pool was spectacular, surrounded by fragrant flowers. We explored Nosara and Samara for beaches and great food. Meeting the hosts and sharing our love for Costa Rica—having moved here a year ago—was a highlight. The on-site waterfall was the cherry on top.

This place is stunning! It's up in the hills and super quiet. This modern home was beautiful and immaculate and had everything we needed. All the glass windows remind you that you are in the jungle and to slow down, what an amazing space. Claudia the property manager is fantastic and responsive.
