Leo was great host, along with Manuel who takes care of the property. Both stellar gentleman. The Airbnb is beautiful, and has everything you really need. Water, AC, Fridge, Spot to cook, utensils, hammocks, and fans I would highly recommend it for nature and bird lovers as I was able to see a massive variety of birds that pass by the beautiful property Leo has constructed. Cacalote is a chill beachside town, everyone keeps to themselves, there’s access to a few restaurants and corner stores. Beware if you have Telcel you basically have no service at all in Cacalote. I’ve heard Bait is the best bet for mobile phone. Thanks again Leo and Manuel, we will be back without a doubt.

During my stay everything was excellent, the location, the service, and your friendliness are essential factors for re-staying. Everything in excellent condition and clean.

I've had a blast staying at El Cacalote at Angel's place. It is so beautiful, peaceful and amongst nature. A garden full of palmtrees, outside showers with the view of the moon and stars right above you, the sunrise view waking me up every morning, the sounds of birds during the day and insects and waves at night. The internet is also amazing and allowed me to work when I needed during my stay. Angel is so friendly, kind, nice, responsive and helpful. I've loved staying here so much that after a week away I came back ! Definetely recommend if you want an isolated spot near the beach, surrounded by nature. Had a great month long stay. Peaceful and safe. Clean. Host and her daughter were extremely helpful and quick to respond to my texts. The pool is refreshing in the morning and at night though too hot for me during the day because I visited during the hottest months (April-May). I rented an upstairs room with shared outdoor kitchen with all you need. Victoria the house cat greeted me each morning. Area very walkable & taxis readily available on the boulevard and at beaches. Several beaches nearby but some not suited for swimming due to large waves. Closest beach Carrizalillo requires walking down about 169 stairs so be prepared but has several good restaurants and loungers for rent for about $25US for a pair. Baby sea turtle release at Playa Bacocho a must do! Centro where supermarket located a short taxi ride away for 50 pesos. Beautiful location with many flowering and fruit trees. All in all a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend.
