Vacation rentals with a pool in Playa Avellana

As a group travelling to Tamarindo for the first time with small children, it was reassuring stay at a property that was private and had security. We have yet to feel unsafe in Costa Rica, but it was still a nice touch. If you've been to private communities in Florida, it had a similar feel. You can walk to the town or beach within ten minutes. It is unfinished roads etc so you may want to drive if it's more suitable for your party. The layout of the property is well thought out with almost all rooms leading to the backyard pool or patio. This property had one of the better pools during our trip - it's massive and clean. I would recommend this property to everyone visiting Tamarindo, but specially families.

Our stay was very enjoyable, it was the cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed at. I would recommend a booklet or folder instructing guests what to do with trash, how to operate the television and what to do on departure. We would highly recommend this home to others as a vacation rental.

We loved our stay at Casa Nya. Everything is exactly as listed, even more beautiful in person, everything we needed was right in the villa, excellent communication from host and they even booked us some reservations at great restaurants. 10/10 recommend this Villa, very safe gated neighborhood and surrounded by other beautiful villas, but yet very private. Would come back, thanks Romi!

Disfrute con mi familia en este alojamiento, la piscina es increíble, todo el alojamiento es muy bonito y limpio. El lugar es muy privado y seguro, muy cerca de varias playas súper bonitas. Julie siempre estuvo muy atenta con cualquier duda que teníamos. La pasamos increíble, lo recomiendo muchísimo.

This is truly a one of a kind (maybe even lifetime!) experience of a place to stay. Where else can you walk out of the pool and directly into the kitchen, living room or dining room? And get fresh air and breezes right into the house? We were a little worried that without AC in the main part of the house it would be uncomfortably hot. It was not an issue at all. Somehow the breezes blow in, the fans kept the air moving, and it felt so nice to hear the birds and not be stuck inside! It was also a very walkable 10-15 min into town, but note that Costa Rica is not big on sidewalks, so you do need to contend with traffic, scooters, and other walkers. But everyone does it, and makes you feel like a local! Down on the street is a place called Zolu, that makes amazing made to order food. You will sit outside and wait a bit but it was the best food we had and very reasonably priced.

My stay here was great everything I needed was available. Very peaceful an private getaway for you and your family. Pool was my favorite. Whenever I needed something they responded very quickly. Thanks again

Chris’s place was an amazing condo that truly felt like we were at home. The area is beautiful and safe and secure. The beach is stunning and ocean water is clear and warm. The condo gives you access to the beach club and spa which were all fantastic and the condo is well stocked for eating in. I recommend a golf cart to get around … easier than walking in the heat!!! Chris was a wonderful host … quick to respond to all my questions and provided some great tips and connected me with someone to arrange rentals and excursions … I would highly recommend this place for a quiet relaxing stay in Playa Conchal ….Pura Vida Chris and thank you for sharing your home with us !!!

Very nice clean comfortable condo. Also feels safe. Beach at Playa Langasto is very rocky and not for swimming but beautiful for a walk as others have noted. The pools are very nice and not crowded at all. We drove to other beaches. Some good restaurants in walking distance. We did an excursion to La Leona if you’re up for an adventure it’s a fun time!

David was easy to coordinate with, told us everything we needed to know, and even carried our bags after a long drive and days of adventuring! The condo was spotless and temperature controls were easy. Views out the front windows and from the pools are beautiful. While we weren't there long enough to cook, it looked like the kitchen was very well stocked - thank you for the bag of coffee so we could enjoy a cup by the pool each morning! We appreciated the beach towels and the ability to do our laundry before heading back. Very pleased with our choice of accomodations for our short time in Playa Flamingo!

This is the third time we have stayed at Diana’s place. As a host, she is incredibly responsive and friendly. The condo is perfect for families, the pool is outstanding and the beaches are perfection.

I was more than happy with how my stay at Andrea’s condo was. I have never been to Tamarindo before and I felt very safe and like I had a lot of useful recommendations. The location was even better than I expected and I could walk everywhere!

Todo bien con el lugar, es bastante cómodo y limpio, al igual que la ubicación es excelente. Lo único que no me agradó fue la parte de tener que dejar una retención de crédito o pagar un seguro, ya que por eso se hace por medio de una aplicación. Fuera de eso, recomiendo ampliamente el lugar 🤗

Muy buena atención x por parte del anfitrión. Muchos utensilios de cocina, y ofrece suministros y regalías que en otros hospedajes donde me he alojado no lo dan. Aseo impecable, y el lugar muy tranquilo, muy cerca del centro de tamarindo.
