The home was beautiful and modern and our stay was overall wonderful. Our first night there was a windstorm and the roof on the outdoor shower extension banged and made it difficult to sleep (perhaps a deficiency as it is a newer build). The hosts were very responsive and had someone out to fix the issue right away. The home had very comfortable beds and all the amenities and supplies you needed to make it very comfortable. The location felt very safe and the community was peaceful and relaxing. The complex was located a bit farther from the beach than I had hoped but there is a market and a few great restaurants located not too far away but I would recommend a car to get to the shops, restaurants and the beach. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay and we would love to stay again.

Casa Bali was an incredibly relaxing place to stay! The pool was perfect for cooling off after a long day at the beach under the hot sun. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare delicious meals, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The area was very quiet, and I loved waking up to the peaceful sounds of birds in the morning. Overall, it was the perfect retreat, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway!

During our staying Costa Rica, we stayed at five different places. This was my absolute favorite! It was private, clean, very peaceful. Elmer and Kyna were available for anything we needed, or suggestions on things to do in the area. Avellanas was also one of my favorite beaches, beautiful waves, and perfect for surf! There was just the right amount to do in the town. Nothing too hectic, but choices of restaurants and places to shop within walking distance of our place. I would stay there again in a heartbeat, and recommend it to anyone!

Gaston’s property was by far one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed at and experienced — and he was one of the BEST hosts I’ve interacted with! The home was immaculate and looked just like the photos, if not better. All of the amenities were provided. You can clearly see Gaston put so much care, attention to detail, and love into this home. From the outdoor pool showers to the thoughtfully decorated wooden panels in the ceilings, everything was so beautifully curated throughout. To add even more delight to our experience, Gaston was EXTREMELY helpful, patient, informative, and kind. My girlfriend and I arrived late at night and directions with Google Maps were funky; Gaston graciously guided us and ensured we got to his Airbnb safely. The Airbnb was perfectly located right by the beach and next to local restaurants; I loved that this was a low-key, quiet home, while also being closely located near a quiet neighborhood of restaurants, coffee shops, etc. I would 100% recommend!

Joëlle and Simon were exquisite hosts. This Airbnb was well equipped with everything you needed and more! The space was stunning with lots of colorful areas to socialize and a perfect temperature swimming pool naturally sheltered from the overpowering sun (which is perfect when you need a break from the beach. The space was clean and cozy. Joëlle’s cooking is also not to be missed and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. We will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Breathtaking! We were looking for a very special private, peaceful place & experience adventure for our Honeymoon, this was everything! We wanted to be amongst locals if anyone, not 'touristy' areas but you can reach those within about an hour. We chose to explore the gorgeous coves in the area, hiked a trail at Playa Nombre de Jesus & reached top of a huge rock you can see from the home. Rarely anyone else on these coves, pretty much had them all to ourselves. Our favorite was Playa Minas. Also toured La Leona waterfall. We met very wonderful & kind locals, one even had a drink stand setup at Mina's and makes the best Pina Coladas, ask for Javier! Make sure to eat at Big Mama's just down the road from the home which is how we found her. She's so kind & an amazing Caribbean cook, will not disappoint! Home great location, clean, comfortable, good WiFi & had everything expected/needed. Francisco is amazing, quick responses, takes great care of home, pool/yard. Can't wait to go back?
