Vacation rentals with a kayak in Platte River

I was staying in Omaha for one night, as a stopover on my way to California. Sharon was very sweet and helpful! It's a great place if you're spending a short time in the area.

We were very happy with Tammy's place. We felt comfortable and at ease in the quiet neighborhood. The house was clean and well stocked with lots of kitchen utensils, equipment and dishware. So easy to prepare meals. Especially noteworthy are the comfy beds, pillows, linens and plenty of wonderful towels. We all slept very well! We look forward to visiting again on future visits to family in the area.

Great place to stay, location is close to downtown and easy to get into and out of. Catrina was incredibly helpful and a great host.

Out of my 3 summers in college I’ve stayed in 3 different places. Melissa’s was definitely my favorite! They really took me in and made me part of the family! Great house and a great stay!

This is our 4th year coming to Omaha for a Presidents Day volleyball tournament and it’s always fun to stay in new places and Rosie’s place was perfect. Highly recommend. Right by Old Market food and shops, great community that quiet and clean and overall very peaceful.

This house was perfect for our family gathering! Three families were able to enjoy time together. We loved spending time on the farm, enjoying the peace and beautiful views. We would love to stay here again in the future! Desirei was so responsive and kind, even left an Easter basket for our son! She was an amazing host!

Great stay! I was in town for a race and needed a good night's sleep. The bed did not disappoint! It was more plush than what I'm used to but was extremely comfortable. Jon's dog (a Shiba Inu named Bear) greeted me enthusiastically. Non-dog people, don't worry. He's tame. There was another long term guest in his second bedroom, a woman he said had been there for a couple of months, but I never saw her. Jon was very accommodating and gave me a recommendation to an Italian place just up the road. It was called Circo. I also highly recommend it. Forget Olive Garden; go here instead. I will definitely keep Jon's place in mind next time I'm in town!

We couldn't be happier with the physical property and all of the items that were stocked and provided for entertainment and cooking. It was a bit more than we would normally spend but for our daughter's wedding we wanted to provide a gathering place for all of our traveling friends. I'd say it was overpriced for most people by 20% or so. BUT we loved it and Linda was the absolute epitome of an ideal host! We'll tell everyone and we'll find a reason to go back!

This cabin was a perfect location for a mini family reunion. Beds were comfortable, everything was very clean and the kitchen provided all the appliances from home! Highly recommend morning coffee on the patio to watch the sunrise across the lake!

A very comfortable stay in a great location. Hannah was super responsive and hospitable. We have a pet dander allergy but had no issues with this pet-friendly rental; it was very clean. Queen sized mattresses were comfortable. Kitchen is fairly well-stocked. Garage was clean and available for our use. We were there over a cold Thanksgiving weekend, so could not enjoy the outdoor spaces or water toys, but they look very nice. Be aware that you need to avoid encroaching on the neighbors' properties, including their waterfronts; Hannah provides a detailed map of property lines.

We reserved originally reserved the larger cabin, but when asked if we could switch it was a blessing in disguise! The Naw-Tee Pine cabin was cozier and closer to the trails and Lake Wanahoo. When we walked in, we felt like we walked into an old-fashioned Christmas! The space was amazing! The gathering areas were appreciated for food and games (Linda provides a lot!) but there were also tucked away nooks for solitude. This was truly the best rental my family has ever stayed in. We will be back in the summer!!!

Jason's "cabin" is a beautiful and very secluded location. Exactly what we wanted! Jason was very considerate, respectful of our privacy, available & willing to help us in any way and very friendly! We highly recommend this home & will stay there again next time we go to see our family in Nebraska! And it has a great bed!!

This was, unbelievably, my first experience with Air bnb. What a way to begin! Mama Jen was an excellent communicator, quickly responsive and thorough. I made an error about bringing my dog, seeing this was pet friendly and not remembering that there was a pre-approval. Jen was so gracious and forgiving-- and I feel certain she would be similarly so with others. The site is extraordinary-- a cabin on the river. I can't imagine ever going elsewhere to witness the annual migration of the Sandhill cranes- a natural wonder. We arrived at sunset to the near-overwhelming sound of crane calls. We stood on the riverfront and celebrated our good fortune to be right there, right then! Thank you, Mama Jen, for making this possible!

We stayed with family for a February getaway. The cabin was peaceful, private, and very cozy for a winter retreat. We enjoyed taking in the snow fall over the private pond, watching the local birds and wildlife just outside the dining room window, doing one of the many puzzles provided, and cuddling up next to the two fireplaces. The host, Olivia, was extremely responsive and organized. No amenity or convenience has been forgotten. The place was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We stayed in winter with extremely cold temps so were unable to explore the outdoor areas, but look forward to booking this place again in the summer to experience those features. Definitely one of the best airbnbs our family has stayed at!
