The stay was really great. The apartment is great and the location excellent. We will be happy to come back.

We had a great time in the cottage. No traffic past the house, hiking directly from cottage and shops etc. not far away (In Plainfang, Faize). For our dog it was wonderful, although you had to take out a quarter of an hour after each walk to remove ticks from her coat. The weather was excellent, so we did not use the sauna and the pellet stove. The central heating was sufficient in the evening to warm it up a bit, after all, the house is at an altitude of about 650 m. Driving up the access road and parking behind the house are no problem. A little more (kitchen)supplies would be nice, e.g. salt, pepper, olive oil, shampoo, etc.

Hugo's place is perfect for all activities in the Vosges. You have your peace and quiet and still reach everything quickly by car. The furnishings are excellent, especially in the kitchen. Everything was clean and as described in the pictures, although you are a little surprised from the outside 😄
