Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Placencia Peninsula

Had an amazing time in Belize, thanks in no small part to Jacki. She helped book excursions, had incredible recommendations, and was so kind and welcoming. Probably the best Airbnb host I’ve seen. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Amazing! Such a unique experience with lovely hosts. A beautiful location to spend time relaxing, snorkeling or fishing on the property or real close by. You can always get picked up form their dock for other excursions too if you wish (they helped us arrange a fly fishing trip and we snorkeled the barrier reef). The food that was included with the airbnb was delicious - most of it caught by the hosts or nearby fisherman. We actually ate Conch and a barracuda we watched them catch when they took us to a secret snorkeling spot. Nights are quiet and bug free. Reminder that there is no cell phone service in the Airbnb which, trust me, can be a good thing for relaxing. Finally, I can't say enough about the hosts - such a lovely family that we enjoyed sharing stories, laughing and playing cards with. I hope to be back real soon!

We had an amazing time in Placencia at The White Turtle! The location is absolutely perfect! The caretakers Reuben, Rufina and their son Gilbert made our trip so special! Rufina kept the house absolutely spotless and checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. Reuben set up our tours and we had the most amazing time snorkeling, fishing and visiting waterfalls. Reuben knows his stuff! I highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed.

We loved our stay and will ONLY stay here whenever we visit Placencia. The apartment seems newly renovated. Everything is in pristine condition. The water gets really hot. The balcony is large. You can reach the beach and restaurants in under 2 minutes walking. You can reach the grocery store and bank in about 7 minutes walking. The host went out of his way to ensure my daughter and I had everything we needed. Days after checking out, we saw the host outside while we were searching for a location and the host saw us, checked on us, and went out of his way to help us. Not only is he a great host, he's a great person!

The cottage is right on the beach with sea views. Quickly accessible from the bus stop or water taxi dock and yet right in the middle of the coastal town. For me, it was the ideal place to stay.

Absolutely spectacular jungle lodge at the heart of charming Maya Center village on the road to the amazing Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary/Jaguar Preserve! Spectacular hikes available in the rainforest reserve and lovely local food and handicrafts in the village. Gregorio and his family are truly marvelous hosts, constantly working to make our experience extraordinary. He offered us a late-night arrival pickup from the Dangriga bus station, very reasonable transport to Cockscomb at dawn for maximum wildlife-spotting chances, delicious breakfasts available, friendly advice, and more! The Chun family is also intimately connected to the fascinating history of the park and the region. Gregorio's brother Julian is an AMAZING park guide who led us on hikes to Riger Fern Waterfall and up the Outlier! The reserve is true wild neotropical rainforest, a kaleidoscope of fascinating life. A superb opportunity for anyone wanting to experience the true Belize 🇧🇿!

This is handsdown the best place I have ever stayed in in my life! Our experience here we will treasure forever. Not only is it stunning and so intimate especially in the evenings when the day guest have left, the staff are the kindest people and very attentive. We had the absolute pleasure of meeting and spending time with King Lewey and Queen Kathy and they also made sure our experience was truly unforgettable. This tiny and beautiful island has so many fun activities to do and the food and drinks are 10 out of 10. I couldn't recommend staying here more if I tried!
