Bungalow vacation rentals in Placencia Peninsula

The casita at La Vida Belize was an absolute treasure! It is very hard to find words to express our gratitude and delight during our stay. The surroundings were just magical, you must experience it for yourself! My only recommendation would be to rent a vehicle as you cannot get around enough by foot or bicycle to truly appreciate what the peninsula of Placencia has to offer.

This stay here was perfect. It was better than the pics. I thought that a place with a matching red fridge and microwave was really cool. Sergio our super friendly maintenance man was just spot on. We had a little issue with the septic system and Sergio immediately sprung into action digging up the pipe that the palm roots did their thing to and fixed the problem immediately. Everyone involved with this property was awesome. As well as their recommended services like Marvin from Leo’s car rental, just up the street, was extremely accommodating and helpful. Nicks place was fantastic! Just far enough from town to be quiet but close enough to jump on the gold cart and ride into town. The place is exactly as it says in the description. It’s not fancy like a resort but it’s clean, good a/c and has a great view of the sunrise. They were there to great is as we pulled up and walked us through the place and gave us some local recommendations for restaurants. I do want to mention that we had a little issue with the laundry lock at 9:30pm the night before we left. Property management was very responsive and had someone out there with in about 15 minutes to fix it so we could do our laundry before we left the next day. Great o stall experience. The Lazy Crab was a great landing/launch pad for my husband and I. We had a great time lounging by the pool. The kitchen had the tools we needed to make meals most nights and enjoy them on our cute little porch. We found a couple great bars/restaurants within walking distance, I would recommend a car or golf cart as town is rather far away. The unit is closer to Maya Beach than Seine Bight. The owners and airbnb hosts were all wonderful. They had clear, prompt communication and tons of local recommendations. We would absolutely stay here again. oh and the bed was insanely comfortable!! Saty here!

Great location with basically a private beach. Lots of space and such a relaxing place. It is a little bit of a drive to the restaurants and where the tours depart from but it’s all one road and a straight shot to them. Easy to communicate with the host and very safe.

Nick has a special place for sure. A fantastic team of caretakers were all absolutely delightful to deal with! From prior to check in messages from Namir on amentities and local places, to Zun our "host" for our stay. All were more than welcome, friendly and accomodating. Martin even stops by to clean the pool! Now for the accomodation and location;- it honestly doesn't get better than this if you are a couple or 2 couples (like we were) looking for an INCREDIBLE location, right on the beach, walking distance to a couple restaurants but far enough away from Placencia to enjoy absolute peace and quiet (except for the sound of birds, lizards, other creatures and the ocean) with a walking dock at your back door; this is your place. The spot has everything you need, washer, dryer, cooking supplies (utensils, pots/pans etc..) updated bathroom with a great shower, a thousand places to sit and read etc... We WILL be back to stay soon for sure!

Great location and price. Hosts were great with communication. Very short walk to restaurants. Right off of Placencia sidewalk. Beachfront property. Would definitely stay again!

place was very nice and well described! might not be best suited for people looking for luxurious room, we were backpacking and it was perfect! right on the water and super close to a bunch of restaurants :) would really recommend thank you for having us!

The cabana was perfect. Ocean at your feet. Swam everyday. Beautiful breeze no need for air conditioning. Lived in my hammock. Everything is within walking distance. The caretaker Tracy was fantastic. So helpful, and kind. I would definitely stay again. The people of Belize are so warm.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at On The Beach bungalows. Mark, our host was super friendly and had great suggestions for local food and fun. The space was cozy, quaint and comfortable. It felt like a cabin in the woods, only on the beach. We watched the sunrise from the front porch every morning -glorious! The kitchen is equipped with absolutely everything you could need, the bed was comfortable and the shower is amazing. We loved that the place was small with only three rentals so we really felt like we were on our own private beach. We would definitely recommend and book here again.
