Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Pitahaya

Great location, close to lots of activities for families with children. Uncluttered and with enough space for us to spread out a bit at the end of each day. The TVs in each room (with cable!) helped. :) The washer and dryer were life-saving after each beach day with three kids. Antonio was a wonderful host. We appreciated his list of local recommendations and kept referring back to his email to decide what to do and check things off the list. All in all, an absolutely wonderful vacation spot.

Fantastic AIRBNB! First, the host went way above and beyond to help us out with a couple of things. Her responsiveness was immaculate. Next the AIRBNB is in a gated, safe, and quiet community. Next, all of the rooms and the common areas were great. Last, the location is perfect if you’re doing anything on the East side of Puerto Rico. We were were within 15 - 20 minutes of El Yunque and Las Pailas. Also, we took the ferry from Ceiba to Culebra and got there within 30 minutes from the AIRBNB. There are major supermarkets like Wal Mart, Ralph’s, etc within 10 minutes. Overall, everything was superb.

Beautiful home and amenities. Right next to the beach. Very clean home. Definitely will love to come back to the home during my next trip

Reiki, meditation and sound baths with crystal sound bowls by the infinity pool with the amazing views were exhilarating and relaxing at the same time as we watched both the sunrise and then the sunset! Master Suewoo loves you!

Really cute little house in a great location, easy to walk downtown to shops and restaurants and right near a beautiful local beach. Bedrooms had A/C which was nice and the kitchen was functional. Easy to spot with the unique front porch door, and the garage was awesome to have. Neighbors were friendly lots of cats and roosters roaming around. Definitely beware light sleepers the roosters would sing right near the windows (literally felt like it was in the room with me) at all hours. And I’d recommended bringing bug spray Bcus we did get a little chomped while in the kitchen/ living room area(open windows). But overall great stay and exactly as described. Would stay again!

I cannot say enough great things about our stay at this house! Connie is a wonderful host. From booking day she has been available for questions and gave us so many awesome local places to check out during our stay. She was easily available during our stay for any questions. The location of the home is perfect! The views of the rainforest and ocean are breathtaking. The yard and pool are beautifully maintained and we spent much of our time there enjoying the views nature around us. Very close to Luquillo Beach and the Kiosks, to El Yunque National Forest, snorkel tours, bio bay The home has everything you need from cooking meals and playing games at home to spending a day at the beach. Lots of common areas to hang out as well as quiet areas to retreat to. It was very comfortable! 100% recommend this home if you are traveling to Puerto Rico. We can't wait to go back!

We really enjoyed our time at Jose's. Everything went smooth, the views are awesome. Luqillo is the perfect spot. Beautiful views and pretty much in the center of everything. It's a little drive to everywhere, San Juan. Ceiba. fajardo and the rainforest. Right off 3 with it's own little on and off ramp.

Javi’s place was the perfect location for us while we were in Puerto Rico for a friend’s wedding. The wedding took place in El Yunque and the location of the Airbnb was convenient for traveling to the venue (about 25-30min drive). While the property is not directly near the beach, we found it manageable to walk to Luquillo beach and its restaurants- it took us about a 10-15 minute walk. The space was very clean and Javi and Suzette were very easy to communicate with, and were very helpful when we needed to adjust our reservation to include our friends whose airbnb had fallen through. The bakery downstairs was a nice addition to the stay! One of the best airbnb experiences, 10/10 would stay here again! Thank you, Javi and Suzette!

The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the bedrooms on opposite sides of the living room was helpful to minimize noise transfer between them. There a convenient parking space out front and beautiful views of the mountains and water from the terrace and rooftop, and it was a quick 5 min drive into the main square of Luquillo and the public beaches nearby. The laundry room and beach chairs were also very appreciated!

If the words Tranquillity, Rest and Peace don’t appeal to you, don’t stay here. For us, this was our 2nd visit to Ladera Retreat. And, as long as we make it back to the island I’m confident it won’t be our last! Val and Ed really have really outdone themselves with this property. Not only is the location beautiful to look at, the sounds of the coqui’s and birds are beautiful to hear. The property was spotless, comfortable and enjoyed by all. In addition to the more common amenities one might find at an AirB&B, Val and Ed have provided beach chairs. Towels, board games and even sand toys for the kids (so considerate). My family had an amazing vacation here! Thanks Val and Ed. PS. Ask Val about touring the farm when you are there! For a small fee we received an educational tour and were taught about native plants and sustainable farming, we fed chickens and turkeys and sampled so many fruits (including cocoa) from their bounty!

We've stayed a lot of places through Airbnb and Carlos' place is a stand out find. Carlos himself is like having a concierge - if there's 'Airbnb University' Carlos should be teaching. The place is ideally located, squeeky clean, and a true home away from home. Beach towels provided, easy parking, well equipped kitchen and great AC. We'll be back - often.

Had a very nice stay here for three nights. Location was great for El Yunque and Flamenco Beach ferry. Had a couple minor maintenance issues and the host jumped on top of them and made it right. Would absolutely stay here again.

Salvador was amazing with me, the location was a perfect fit for our weekend vacation , spacious property and beautiful view. I really recommend staying here! If I’m ever around this area I will be back

The condo is as advertised. The view from the balcony is awesome. The condo is indeed steps from the beach. The condo building complex is ok. The elevators are temperamental and only one was in service the whole 10 days that we were there. The condo is close to El Yunque, Fajardo, and the Kiosk shops and restaurants. It’s about 45 mins from San Juan and the airport. So fairly convenient if you have a car and are able and willing to drive while on vacation. The community is gated and has a guard on duty 24/7 so getting in and out is not an issue. The condo felt a little smaller than the pictures, especially the kitchen, but that is probably because we are used to bigger spaces in the Midwest. All in all a great place to spend your vacation.

We had a great stay at the villas! There was more than enough room for a family of 5 adults. The kitchen was stocked with the essentials like pots and pans and knives, and even a blender, and we were able to use it to cook a number of great meals. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the multi-unit setup was great to provide individual space to different groups. The soundproofing between the apartments was excellent. The outdoor area significantly exceeded our expectations, and was a great environment to relax and hang out in. The pool was clean and a good size and depth, with a good collection of floaties and toys. The view was breathtaking and there were tons of options for seating to enjoy it and interact with your group. The location felt secure, the neighbors were kind, and the host was impressively responsive. Overall would definitely recommend this AirBnB to anyone going to Puerto Rico with a group.

The apartment was spotless and very cozy. The bed was so soft and comfortable. I actually lifted the sheets to find the manufacturer’s name. I intend to purchase the same mattress for my home. The location was good if want to stay outside of San Juan. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Graciela was very attentive and responsive. She gave us a list of activities we can do during our stay. Carabali Rainforest was mentioned and its a 10 min drive from the apt. It’s a lot to do there. We did the UTV excursion. But there’s horseback riding, ATVs, go-karts etc. She’s a great host! I would most certainly stay here again!

We were impressed by the warm hospitality and attention to detail. From start to finish everything exceeded our expectations. The communication with Xiomara was smooth and prompt, making the booking process hassle-free. The location was perfect, with restaurants, bars and access to the beach. We enjoyed exploring the area and found plenty of great options nearby. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. We cannot recommend Xiomara and their property highly enough. Thank you so much for a memorable stay-we will definitely be back!

Our family of 5 absolutely loved our stay here! The unit is very spacious, super clean and in a quiet complex. We lost power when on the island and the community is equipped with a generator, so we never missed a beat. Our stay was amazing! Loved having coffee on the porch in the morning and swimming at the pool! Thank you for an amazing stay in PR!

I love being in the heart of the culture. It’s not a very touristy location, which I love. The restaurants close by were so good. The walk to the beach was super close and convenient. Ruth’s spot was perfect. Instructions were perfectly laid out, if you aren’t lazy like me to read everything :)

This place was great. All of the amenities listed were as described. Beautiful pool and jacuzzi. The days we were there we had some clouds and rain therefore the pool felt a bit cold and the jacuzzi did not have hot water. This is more on the maintenance of the building i belive not the host. It would have been nice but the view made up for it 1000%. The apartment was nice, had plenty of room, beautiful kitchen, really nice balcony to enjoy the views and amazing breeze. PR lost power for several hours and Tania reached out to us immediately to give us additional instructions to navigate the situation. Luckily, the complex has generators so literally other than a quick flicker of the lights its all we noticed. Everything worked in the apartment as if nothing was happening. This was a PLUS! The apartment has everything you need to stay in or to go out from chairs, coolers, toys for the beach or pool! Really loved our stay. Great location to everything you need to do in PR.

This place was fantastic. Gorgeous beach views, and within walking distance to various coffee shops, dining, more beach, and shopping. Once you get the hang on the roads and the building, it’s pretty seamless and a really great spot. The condo was clean, matched the photos and was beautiful. It contained thoughtful touches like beach chairs, towels, a little cooler and all needing cookware. Being able to do a load of laundry is awesome. Highly recommend!

Amazing views…clear instructions, clean condo, tons to do in the area both walkable and short drives. The host was communicative, assuring that all was well. I had no issues. I enjoyed a beautiful view, peace, and quiet with many options for entertainment outdoors. The lake there connecting with ocean was cool to see. Tons of walking on the beach opportunities. My favorite part was the balcony…the view…the breeze…and a cozy clean space.

We stayed here for a couple nights and the first night when we arrived we noticed the bathroom not fully cleaned and some stains on the bedsheets. I told the host and he immediately made arrangements for them to come the next morning to clean. The cleaning people arrived on time and was very helpful in meeting our needs. Other than that, the place was great with an AMAZING view from the porch. The breeze was amazing also. The building inside and outside is very outdated and looks creepy but the apt itself is great! I would recommend if you’re looking for a private peaceful stay. The property is secured which makes you feel safe as well.

We truly enjoyed our stay! The view was breathtaking. Ruthy had ALL the essentials needed at her place. We would definitely come back!
