Cottage vacation rentals in Piombino

We stayed at this lovely cottage in late November and we were delighted with every aspect of the stay. The cottage was clean and comfortable, and was well equipped. The hot-tub was wonderful and sitting there on a chilly night with a view of SG was amazing. Annalisa and Davide were really nice and friendly and very helpful- great hosts. It was about 35 minutes to walk to the town, so quite walkable, and wonderfully quiet and rural (one morning there were 3 deer walking past the window). We had a very nice day out in Sienna which was easy to drive to. I would definitely recommend this place as somewhere really special.

Lovely, peaceful, spacious place with a kind and generous host in Simone. He met us as we arrived and used his wagon to help move our luggage into the cottage. Big rooms, lots of space, many handy supplies in the kitchen. Good shower, comfortable bed. Enough bench space in the bathroom to put your things. Simone was really helpful with local recommendations for restaurants and where to park the car. One day he made a delicious tart and bought us in half. Would recommend staying at his place.

Casa linda e muito confortável! Daniela e Alberto nos receberam muito bem! Sempre solícitos. A piscina eh o ponto alto ainda mais com crianças e calor! E cada quarto tem seu espaço privando com churrasqueira! Voltarem com certeza.

Es ist ein nettes Häuschen in einer traumhaften Umgebung. Man kann direkt los laufen und viel erleben.

L'atmosfera del Casale Acquaviva è davvero particolare, tra gattini, silenzio e piscina...ci siamo trovati benissimo :)

The stay in Toscana was great. Despite the fact, the weather was not perfect, we enjoyed the stay sooo much. The host was very friendly, offering a lot of tips. The communication was very friendly, I felt more like a family member than just a guest. Thank you for the stay Mariaclotilde and for your care. It was a really great time we had here.

La maison est très spacieuse et le jardin est vraiment très agréable. La cuisine et la salle de bain principale (immense) sont rénovées. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié que les chambres soient climatisées surtout que nous y étions dans la période la plus chaude. Cependant, nous étions étonnés de devoir acheter des sacs poubelle, car il y en avait seulement un pour chaque poubelle, sauf pour le compost qui en avait plusieurs. Pareil pour le papier toilette, il y avait juste 1 par salle de bain. La piscine était très chaude et le jardin très bien équipé. Nous avons eu un lit bébé moyennant un supplément de 10€/jour ce qui était un peu cher. Il y avait des jouets pour enfant, mais pas de chaise haute (bon à savoir). Il faut savoir que l’accès est un peu cahoteux et qu’il faut bien ouvrir l’œil pour voir le virage pour le chemin qui mène à la maison. Ça a l’avantage d’être très calme et intime.

Jacopo è stato un host eccezionale! Disponibile e gentile, si è subito adoperato a risolvere piccoli problemi riscontrati al nostro arrivo, wifi non funzionava x colpa del modem, mancava un piccolo pentolino x scaldare il latte (rovinato dagli ospiti precedenti) e la camera da letto non aveva la tenda x oscurare la luce, il gg dopo aveva già risolto il guasto del wifi, comprato un nuovo pentolino e anche una nuova moka e messo la tenda in camera. La casa è in una posizione tranquilla, certo si sento passare le macchine ma i serramenti nuovi isolano perfettamente le stanze e si dorme senza problemi, la veranda esterna dove mangiare è molto carina, il giardino è grande e recintato il nostro cane ha apprezzato molto. La casa è dotata di a/c anche se in realtà è sempre fresca. Unica pecca è la mancanza di un piccolo microonde o friggitrice ad aria, per poter riscaldare o cucinare piatti veloci, ma questo non ha di certo rovinato la nostra vacanza, ci siamo naturalmente adatti con i fuochi.

Vores ophold hos Gabriele var fantastisk, og vi nød den uge vi har hos ham. Huset har en filmisk flot udsigt over det toscanske landskab og poolen lige sådan. Poolen er perfekt til afkøling på de varme sommerdage. Huset er smukt, rustikt, rent og køligt. Aircondition hjælper også. Vi har været en familie på 4, med børn på 4 og 7 år. Vi har nydt det hver dag! Gabriele og hans kone var meget venlige, imødekommende og altid nem at få fat i om nødvendigt. De var med til at gøre vores ophold helt perfekt. Tak til dem! Vi kan kun anbefale et ophold hos Gabriele og hans “Le Capannacce”.

Das Haus ist sehr sauber und einfach aber zweckmässig eingerichtet. Die Zufahrt führt den letzten Kilometer über eine Naturstrasse, welche aber auch ohne SUV gut befahrbar ist. Zu erwähnen ist die absolute Ruhe und die vielen Waldwege, welche bestens zum Joggen, Wandern oder zu Mountainbiketouren genutzt werden können. Highlight ist aber der Pool, welcher uns exklusiv zur Verfügung stand. Das Meer und diverse Strände (Sand oder Stein) sind mit dem Auto in ca. 15 min erreichbar. Margeritha ist bei Problemen oder Fragen immer erreichbar und hilft schnell und unbürokratisch. (Defekte Waschmaschine wurde innert weniger Stunden ersetzt) Alles in Allem eine absolut positive Erfahrung

Die Unterkunft von Giovanni entspricht den Erwartungen die man durch die Beschreibung und den Bildern erhält in vollem Umfang. Wir waren mit 3 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern Vorort. Das ist auch das Maximum und eher sehr eng aber das war uns vorher klar. Das Haus ist etwas abgelegen und etwa 2,5 km von dem Ort Scarlino entfernt. Wir fanden es sehr ruhig und in wunderbarer Lage. Wir sind morgens mit dem Fahrrad zum Bäcker gefahren um frische Brötchen zu kaufen. Das Highlight ist aber der fantastische große Pool welcher morgens und nachmittags vor und nach unserem Strandtag ausgiebig genutzt wurde. Des Weiteren kann man sich auch unter einen schönen Schattenplatz unter der riesigen Palme am Pool ausruhen. Der nächste Strand ist ca. 10km entfernt in Follonica. Der Strand ist sehr groß und lang aber in den Sommerferien natürlich sehr voll. Wir haben uns fast alle Strände in 30min Entfernung angesehen und genossen. Auch die Stadt Pisa ist in 1 Stunde 45min gut zu erreichen und sehr sehenswert

Abbiamo passato una notte nella dependance con due cani e ci siamo trovate benissimo! Posto situato in mezzo alle campagne toscane dove regna pace e tranquillità. Sicuramente ci torneremo per passare qualche giorno in più.

Cozy idyllic house with a great view overlooking the Tuscany landscape. The road to the house is a bit widning and long so if you're looking to go out often maybe not the most convenient. However if you're looking for a quiet peaceful getaway, it's an amazing location.

Wir waren im Januar/Februar vier Wochen in Letizias Haus und hatten eine großartige Zeit. Wir hatten im Haus alles, was man für eine Workation benötigt, Internet ist stabil, die Heizung funktioniert sehr gut, wir haben zwei Räume als Arbeitsplätze genutzt. Im Obergeschoss kann man gut mit der Klimaanlage heizen. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, viele Töpfe, Pfannen, genügend Geschirr, auf dem Gasherd macht es richtig Spaß zu kochen. Zumal im Supermarkt, 20 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt, sehr guter Fisch und Gemüse zu kaufen ist. Der menschenleere Strand ist keine 100 Meter entfernt, der Ort ist zu dieser Jahreszeit sehr ruhig, einige Restaurants sind geschlossen. Das Grundstück ist komplett umzäunt, so dass unsere Hunde auch mal draußen in der Sonne liegen konnten. Eine absolute Empfehlung. Vielen Dank Letizia!

wir waren zu viert (2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) und hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt, trotz viel Regen. Die Unterkunft war herrlich gemütlich, idyllisch, ruhig, sodass man es auch mal einen ganzen Tag mit Buch im sehr bequemen Bett oder auf der großen überdachten Terrasse aushält - mit traumhaften Blick über typisch toskanische Landschaft. Gleichzeit erreicht man die schönsten Städte der Toskana in 20-45 Minuten.die Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig und abgelegrn inmitten der Natur, aber trotzdem zentral. Wir kommen wieder! das nächste mal im Sommer, um die tolle Poolanlage zu nutzen.

Wir haben zu viert mit Hund sehr schöne Tage in diesem gemütlichen Haus mit dem wunderbaren Garten verbringen dürfen. Paolo und Lidia sind sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Wir haben viele gute Informationen zum Garten und zu der Umgebung bekommen. Vielen Dank nochmals dafür. In der Umgebung gibt es einiges zu entdecken (Strände, See, schöne Örtchen...). Wir haben aber auch sehr schöne Stunden im Garten und an dem hübschen Pool verbracht. Sehr erholsam!

Wir hatten wundervolle Tage in Zanca. Die Lage und Aussicht sind einmalig. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Die Terrasse mit Meerblick lädt zum entspannen ein und ist eingebettet in einem sorgfältig gepflegten mediterranen Garten. Es sind Wanderungen direkt ab Haustür möglich und auch St. Andrea ist ein wirklich charmanter Ort. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können einen Aufenthalt bei Maria Luisa und ihrem Mann nur empfehlen.

Fantastic: very nice house in a beautiful setting with a great view, both from the house, front yard and pool. Nice interior, good ambiance, very clean and fully equipped! The shared pool is big and close by, but nicely secluded. Gianluigi really is a great host; very responsive, friendly and helpful. Our kids had a short and heavy flu, and he helped us out enormously. It was clear that he really wants his guests to enjoy their stay. Thank you Gianluigi!

La maison est anicenne, mais charmante propre et fonctionnelle. Elle est située dans un parc avec forêt méditérannéenne et oliviers, avec le luxe d'un accès direct à la plage de galets. Nous avons pu manger dehors matin, midi et soir, à l'ombre ou au soleil à notre convenance. Il fait savoir que la route et le chemin de fer sont en hyper proximité (le train passe en continu nuit et jour). Cela ne nous a pas empéché de passer un super séjour, mais il faut le savoir. The place was great with an excellent view of the valley and San Gimignano town, which was located at a 10 min drive. Great place to relax away from all the city noise. Marco addressed all concerns in a timely manner.

We spent five fantastic days in Lucrezias charming house. Timeless views over the Val Di Greve in a beautul rural setting surrounded by Cypress, Olive trees and vinyards. Lucrezia is a wonderful,gracious, accomodating and friendly host. Walking distance to the hilltop village of Panzano with a nice selection of restaurants offering Tuscan specialities. A perfect base for discovering the surrounding area. Would definitely visit again. Top notch.

Our stay at Pornanino was amazing. We were there the 2nd week in May, and the weather was a little cool and rainy the first 2 days (we were grateful to have heat in the house, even if gas is expensive!), but the weather was beautiful after that. The cottage is totally charming, the beds and the overstuffed chairs in the living room quite comfortable, the kitchen is very functional, and well-stocked. Francesca was very friendly, super responsive, and totally fluent in English. She was often around the grounds in the afternoons working on the gardens, so we could chat as much as we wanted, and ask whatever questions we had about the region, the house, or anything else. She was also very responsive if we had questions or problems via WhatsApp. It is a bonus that it is a working olive farm. Matteo (also fluent in English) gave us a demo of the olive mill the last day we were there, which was super interesting. Pornanino also worked well for our somewhat unique needs, as we were doing a mix of cycling and working remotely while we were there. The road up to Castellina was a bit too steep and rough for us to ride (we used the car when we wanted to go that direction!), but we were able to connect to a week’s worth of great cycling routes going the other direction, either up towards Radda or Lecchi or down towards Vagliagli. The internet connection was good enough for telecommuting—video calls were a bit iffy, but audio was pretty good. And the little desk with the big windows looking out was a pretty sweet place to sit. You could still get a connection with a computer sitting outside in the garden, but tablets lost the signal. We would unequivocally highly recommend this place!
