What a delightful experience! The house was as advertised and more. Kate provided many thoughtful touches (easy entertainment navigating, extra kitchen and food treats, fully stocked kitchen and cooking aids, games, beach supplies), which were wonderful surprises. She operates a pet friendly house, with pet supplies too. The location is marvelous, and the Surf City beaches are wonderful. She truly is a five star hostess, and this lovely home is perfect for a family/pet holiday.

We had a wonderful stay and cannot recommend this home enough! Excellent access to the beach and the home has everything you could need and so much more! Hosts were very easy to communicate with and responded quickly. We would love to come back!

If you’re considering a place to stay in Atlantic beach look no further than this. As a regular Airbnb user this is by far one of the best places we have stayed. Everything was so well thought out, absolutely spotless and we felt right at home. The attention to detail was spectacular as we did not have to bring hardly anything extra with us for the little things that are sometimes needed during a stay. You can walk to a great strip of restaurants, shops and even coffee. The closeness to the beach and over all quiet area made it even better. We will absolutely stay at Natalie’s place again as her hospitality was unmatched.

The beachfront location was amazing. We really enjoyed spending most of our time on the beach and the deck. The house is small, but if you intend to spend most of your time outside, it's perfect. The house shows it's age in a few areas, but this didn't affect our stay. The A/C kept it nice and cool during some hot humid days. The deck was perfect for morning coffee, watching a storm roll in, hanging out in the evenings, and most importantly private beach access! Most of the surf city shops and restaurants were only a 5 minute drive away. Overall, this was a great spot for a relaxing stay at the beach. We would book it again.

My family and I had a great three night stay. We’ve always wanted to stay right on the ocean and it was so worth it. The house is spacious but still cozy. We travelled with our 8 month old and used the high chair and baby gate. We loved watching the sun come up over the ocean each morning. Emily was communicative and friendly. Would definitely return!

Dune it right was AMAZING! My wife and I had a fantastic weekend. House was just footsteps away from the beach! Everything was extremely clean. The host Carrie was awesome and very responsive. Would recommend a stay here to anyone! Thanks Carrie! Can’t wait to come back and stay longer.

If you are looking for a private and peaceful location for a small family, this is it! The house was exactly as described and you cannot get any closer to the beach! It was perfect for us and our son because it was so close that taking breaks was a breeze. We like to do a mix of cooking and eating out. The kitchen was fully stocked and the location was within 7 miles of some really awesome restaurants and ice cream parlors. We found so many sea shells and it was so peaceful and quiet. Like they say, it is not close to public access and is on a dead end street so we never had to worry about being overcrowded. It was like having the beach to yourself with the exception of the few families whose houses were by you. Both the other properties were far enough away so you aren’t stacked on top of each other. We will definitely stay again and recommend this home to anyone. George and Brenda were great! If you want to be on the beach and have a relaxing location, look no further! This is it!

Loved the location. I wasn't sure about everyone in our group liking being so close to the "hubbub", but that ended up being what something we really liked about the place. Lots of things to do that are walkable. Shops, restaurants, bars, coffee houses, a beautiful walkway along the intracoastal waterway, a kids playground... And the view can't be beat! Well stocked kitchen- like truly everything you could possibly need. Lots of seating on the deck. All the things! Mom was over the moon about her 90th birthday celebration.

We loved our stay at Candi’s place! Beautiful property(beachfront), awesome condo(loved the decor), amazing pool/spa, friendly property manager, spectacular views, great balcony, convenient elevator!!! Everything we dreamed of when planning. Thank you for a memorable vacay…🩷

We completely enjoyed our stay at Emerald Island Oasis. The house was easy to find and was exactly as pictured/described. Inside the house was comfortable and clean. Felt right at home. The pool area was truly an oasis! Our whole family loved the pool and the sitting area around it. Town had several great restaurants and ice creams places. Our kids loved the go cart track as well. Beautiful beach was just a short walk from the house. Everything was wonderful about our stay here. Would definitely return for a another stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this beach bungalow! The unit was clean, cozy, and very family-friendly—perfect for traveling with kids. The community pool had great safety features, which gave us extra peace of mind. Just a short walk to the beach and amazing local spots, everything was easy and fun. The host was super friendly, proactive, and quick to respond. We’ll definitely be back!

We loved our stay at Deanna’s place! The house was great inside and out; we especially enjoyed the porches and backyard. The location is fantastic - being so close to the beach and being able to walk or bike to restaurants (we even biked to the grocery store) was fantastic. The kitchen was well-appointed and we cooked several meals in, which was much easier with the kids. We didn’t need but noticed baby gates and high chairs, things that still catch my eye after years of traveling when our kids were a bit younger. The kids loved the “secret reading room” downstairs about as much as they enjoyed playing in the game room. My folks joined us, and the 7 of us had plenty of space for socializing and enough privacy as needed. All in all, we had a wonderful trip. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

Joyce's home is absolutely wonderful!! She has worked so hard (and achieved) a comfortable, inviting space with every amenity you could think of and more! we were surprised to find a stocked coffee bar, beach essentials (even beach towels), and a fully equipped kitchen with everything we needed. Our family will definitely return to this beautiful home!

We loved our time at this beach bungalow! It was clean, cozy, and just a short walk to the beach, great restaurants, and all the good vibes. The community was super friendly, and the shared pool was a great bonus. Our kids had a blast with the new friends they made at the pool. The host was incredibly helpful, responsive, and kind—made everything smooth. We’ll definitely be back!

We had the best beach vacation at Kristin’s place. The house was just as described and very well stocked with just about everything we needed for a great stay. The kitchen was one of best for folks like us who cook most meals - plenty of pots and pans, utensils, and lots of dishes. Beds were all super comfy. And the use of the beach towels, chairs, sun shades and toys were WONDERFUL saving us precious packing space in the car. Kristin was very helpful with all my questions. 10 out of 10! Next time we are headed to the beach, this is the first place I will try to book. Thank you!

We (myself and 7 family members) stayed at Matthew’s for a wedding. The place slept the 8 of us comfortably and was gorgeous. We had a fantastic time and will be in contact again in the future!

This house was very clean, the view from the back porch was awesome. The house itself was beautiful inside, clean, everything was just perfect. We plan on going back again. We would recommend this place to anybody.

Wonderful girls weekend at the beach. 3 of the 4 bedrooms had ocean views. Spent most of our time lounging in the chairs on the decks!

Excellent vacation rental! It was just right for our trip with another couple. We had plenty of space, the furnishings were comfortable and in great shape. The setting was peaceful. We enjoyed the deck for breakfast and lunch as well as the sunrise and sunset over the sound. I would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

This is our new favorite place to stay on the NC coast! We had a wonderful, relaxing stay with our family and dogs - total 5 star experience!!

We had a wonderful stay at Michael’s AirBnb. The home is beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, and family/kid friendly (gates at stairways, small kids table in kitchen, some toys, etc.). It is a very short and easy walk to the private beach. The location is also a short drive to Fort Macon (5 min), the Atlantic Beach Town Park (<10 min), and beach stores and restaurants. Michael is very responsive and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this home and would definitely look into staying there again!

Can’t say enough great things about the host and the property! Spacious/new home built to accommodate a large family. Large kitchen and a wonderful fenced back yard with picnic tables, corn hole and grill. We will definitely put this property on our “favorite” list to visit again in the future!

We enjoyed our stay. Easy walk to the beach. We loved the ceiling fans and AC units in each room especially after being outside in the humid weather. It was great to have the washer & dryer to wash wet clothes and towels. Nicely decorated inside. Thank you for sharing a wonderful place.
