Authentic cozy house with private sauna Groningen

Authentic detached house full of atmosphere and equipped with all the comforts. Wooden floors, a modern kitchen, a private sauna in the bathroom and 2 double bedrooms on the ground floor with excellent beds give atmosphere and luxury. The spacious living with spacious Chesterfield sofa overlooks the Winsumerdiep. Onderdendam is a beautiful village 12 km away from the city of Groningen and has a protected village view. Our 2-pers. Canadian canoe and our 3 bikes are available for rent for a reasonable price.

Since April 2022, we have been offering this characteristic property in Warffum. Take a break and enjoy the still undiscovered vast Groninger Hogeland. The house is located directly next to the medieval church on the largest wierde in the Netherlands. Many beautiful authentic villages in the area , the infinite polders and the bird(spot)rich cellars of the Wadden Sea can be admired within cycling distance. A visit to the city of Groningen and islands Schiermonnikoog and Borkum is also worthwhile!

Luxury B&B with air conditioning in Winsum, route Pieterpad!

During our start of the Pieterpad we stayed overnight at Paul's. Simple and fast communication and a very friendly welcome. We got a clear explanation about the room. Then we checked on the horses and cuddled with the dogs. Wonderful sleep and showered. And at the agreed time a delicious breakfast. You can indicate what you want, so little waste. And there is even a doggy bag so you can take something with you on the go. The accommodation is quietly located about 15 minutes' walk from the cozy center of Winsum. In short: friendly, clean, good bed, delicious breakfast, nice dogs, quiet and a beautiful sunset. Paul, thank you for all the good care!

Tineke and Fos have a very cozy garden house in a cute village. It exuded hospitality and I immediately felt at home. It's great that everything is sustainably reused in the construction. Everything was present, and Tineke is an incredibly nice host and thinks with you about possibilities. The cats also came by, that was also very cozy!

The tiny house is highly recommended if you appreciate peace and simplicity. Amenities are just as described. The Tiny House is located in a row with four others, we found the other guests to be very discreet and nice. Check-in is straightforward. In the house there is a basic set of dishes and cutlery, details were missing, but on vacation that's fine... 🙂 The surroundings are very quiet, a quaint café is within walking distance, otherwise you can see a lot of nature, special waders and some sheep. 🙂 Highly recommended is the Nationaal Park Lauwersmeer or a day trip to Groningen.

Margret is a wonderful host, the room and garden are great. I had a folding bike with me and the location is therefore perfect for me. Nice and quiet to relax and just go to Norddeich for dinner or to the ferry to Norderney. Absolutely recommended. I will be a regular guest 🤗
