Vacation rentals in Pico de Barcelos

It’s not often that you find accommodation that ticks all the boxes particularly when travelling with a large group. My family absolutely loved our stay here during our visit to Madeira. The Airbnb was luxurious and provided a relaxing environment while being close to great restaurants, beaches / pools and shops. Each bedroom was spacious, en-suite and with a sea view over the Atlantic. The apartment in general had everything you could think of to make our stay feel as homely and comfortable as possible. Having access to a 3 car private garage allowed hassle free travel anywhere around the island and was a real plus for my elder grandparents and the babies and toddlers in our group. A big thank you to our attentive Airbnb host for an absolutely memorable stay. We will be back!

The place was beautiful! Great view, very clean and had everything we needed. The parking situation was unideal. Very small space however it is the only downside of this apartment everything else was great.

Staying at Villa Nobrega was an unforgettable experience. The villa is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, with breathtaking views from the rooms and especially from the pool. The barbecue area is perfect for evening dinners, warmed by the fire with the city lights sparkling below. Rosa and Octávio are wonderful hosts — welcoming, attentive, and discreet. They made everything flawless, and their passion and care shine through in every detail. We highly recommend Villa Nobrega to all our friends and to anyone reading this: it’s a special place that truly deserves to be experienced at least once.

The apartment was amazing! It had everything we needed. We especially appreciated separate towels for bathing and for the beach. The washing machine with a dryer was also very convenient after hiking. The apartment did feel like home, and it was very pleasant to come back after a long day of exploring Madeira. We appreciated that the parking was included and that it was never crowded, so we didn't worry that we might need to search for a spot. The swimming pool and the gym were pleasant additions. Trust me, you WILL WANT a picture from the infinity swimming pool. But the best thing about the place was Marianna. She was so helpful and so responsive. All her recommendations were top-notch! The food and experience were incredible. Thank you so much for our wonderful mini-vacation. We couldn't be more satisfied with your place.

We can clearly say: this was the most beautiful Airbnb we've ever stayed in!!! The location, the property, the pool and above all: the beautiful little cottage. Every detail is right, so tasteful and authentic, beautiful materials, no element too much or too little. To fall in love! Normally, we almost always go out for breakfast and eat, here we have often preferred to stay on the beautiful porch. Dustin and Paula were always there for us and made sure we always had everything we needed. We will be happy to come back!!!

Lovely stay in Madeira in this cosy Airbnb. Leonor was great and had a handy guide to lots of local recommendations. It’s a short 6 min drive in Funchal centre, we didn’t try the walk as it was on a hill. The garden is beautiful, and enjoyed having breakfast outside in the sun each day. There’s a highway nearby that has some noise during the day if you are outside but we didn’t hear it at night or from indoors. Overall a lovely stay, would definitely recommend! We had such a wonderful stay with my family. The apartment was incredibly clean, modern, with a beautiful terrace that we really enjoyed. Everything we needed was provided, and the space felt so comfortable and welcoming. The location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to explore, yet peaceful and relaxing. Our host was kind, responsive, and even made great recommendations that made our trip even better. This place truly made our time in Madeira special.
