Luca and his family were extremely friendly, proactive and super helpful for recommendations! their property on top of a mountain close to the lago maggiore is absolutely beautiful, with amazing views on the lake! they take care of a lot of animals like dogs, cats, rabbits and even a donkey and a goat, which we found super sweet and which made the stay unforgettable. They also served breakfast in the morning, which was included in the price, which we didn’t expect, and which exceeded our expectations! all in all, our stay at Luca‘s place was very beautiful and we can definitely recommend it to couples, who are looking for a quiet and charming place in nature!

Up on the hills in Stresa, the room in the villa has an amazing lake side view designed from a past era with airy spacious and ensuite bathroom. Tucked with its own separate villa front door entrance from a common garden area with patio and kitchenette area for eating, it was a wonderful stay! Leisurely walks @ your own pace up and down the paved steep hills to ferry and Stresa town center, cardio and exercise for the day of exploring Lake Maggiore was a delight for R&R with a lively town center in the evenings for shops and restaurant. Massimo respects your privacy and his communication and proactive ways goes the extra mile with rides to and from villa, insights to towns of interest, and providing waters in the humid month of June. Thanks Massimo for a lovely stay in your villa!

Very beautiful apartment with all updated amenities and nice furniture and linens/towels. we enjoyed our stay. It was very nice that Angelo made the garage available for our motorcycles. I kept mine in front of the house just off the road with no worries and my friend put hers in the garage. The roads are steep and the neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. The cats are very sweet.

The house is in a great location with lots of restaurants, bakeries, and the town's parks and villas are beautiful and can be explored slowly. The room is spacious, retains the original style, and the garden and the sacred mountain in the distance can be seen from the terrace. Daniele and Sonia were extremely friendly and helpful, the room and the kitchen clean and with nice details. The breakfast had everything we could wish for, even the freshest eggs from their own chickens! We just stayed for one night and it was perfect for an overnight stay on the way back home.
