Fabulous stay in this very quaint village, truly a special find. we loved the beautiful decor in the house, everything was exceptional and beautiful and tasteful. Thanks to Madeleine for a warm welcome and great recommendations on the village eateries , Karoo Artist cafe was such a win for yummy lamb chops!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Inni Kraal. Firstly, I thought the price was more than reasonable ( a bargain actually!), especially for what you get. I had two large bedrooms to myself and a bathroom and kitchenette. The accommodation provider also conveniently owns a restaurant next door. Thus, you would not need to walk far to get some good quality food (although they only open at 17:00, do don't expect breakfast). There is safe parking in a courtyard. I would just add an extra safety lock on the front door that opens to the street. That said, there was a security guard outside for most of the evening. The decor is Karoo-chic and minimalistic; yet, still stylish with an element of luxury. The town as a whole is walkable and there are many cute restaurants and shops within the vicinity. The architecture is beautiful and old. All the houses in this area is probably more than 100 years old.

From the moment we arrived at The Aloe Guest House, we knew we were in for a special experience. Despite the pouring rain, Jana greeted us with a bright, beautiful smile that instantly made us feel at home. It felt as if we were long-lost friends returning to our small-town roots, and that warm welcome set the tone for our entire stay. The venue itself is simply stunning. Spacious, and equipped with everything we could possibly need, it truly exceeded our expectations. The room is blended with comfort with charm, making it a perfect retreat after a day of traveling. Jana’s gracious hosting went above and beyond. It’s clear that she pours her heart into making The Aloe Guest House a welcoming haven for all her guests. We left feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the experience. It was my second time staying there with my dogs as a stop over from the Garden Route to Natal. The cottage was lovely with plenty space for the dogs to run around. Karien was helpful and friendly as usual. I will certainly stay there again.
