Very nice airbnb with a beautiful balcony and view over the forest and lake. Perfect place to relax and enjoy hikes in the local area.

We booked the apartment to stay during the new year and we had a wonderful time. It was very spacious for a group of 5 adults and would fit a family trip perfectly as well. Mona was extremely hospitable, courteous and helpful. The area (west of the black forest) is beautiful, with tons of hiking trails to enjoy even in winter. Altensteig is a pastorale town nestled in a valley with restaurants, cafes and a variety of supermarkets. All of us had a perfect trip and would gladly come back to enjoy Mona's apartment and the enchanting black forest. Oh and did i mention that Mona baked us cookies for the new year? 🎊

The apartment is perfect for a nice and cozy stay in the Black Forest. Everything is new, beautiful and lovingly decorated, clean and cozy. The location is very quiet and you can walk directly from the front door. Sandra and Frank are very nice and helpful. We will be happy to come back.
