Newly renovated apartment with Matterhorn view

Are you looking for a typical Swiss Alpine accommodation ? My apartment is situated in an old Swiss Chalet and has been completely renovated in 2018. By the renovation, I took a special care of the materials. Traditional Alpine wooden interiors with modern features. It creates a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Last but not least, a beautiful view of the Matterhorn from the sitting-room and from two of the bedrooms. Just relax on the balcony while watching the sunset on the Matterhorn.

3 Steps from the ski lift/train. Roomy 1 bedroom apartment covering the top floor of a central riverside chalet. Sleeps 2 adults. Stylishly furnished and well equipped the apartment includes a dedicated workspace with 2 desk lamps ( with integrated wireless phone chargers). New kitchen in 2021 with all new appliances etc. Possibly the best location in Zermatt.

We had an excellent stay. We were two families (4 adults, 3 children) and the space was more than enough for all of us to spread out. Quiet location just outside the center of town and easy to walk to/from. The host was very responsive and helpful. The place was clean, accurately described and had a lovely terrace with great views. We had a wonderful stay and would return.

The views of the lake from all the rooms and balcony of the apartment are beautiful! Having a washer and a place to park in front of the building and an elevator are really a plus. The apartment is roomy and bright. The bed is very comfortable!!! The walk to the ferry dock and promenade took about 15 minutes. Conad grocery store is very close. We were there on September 18 to 21 and the ferries to the Switzerland area of the lake and the funicular to the mountain viewpoint only run during the weekends, so we missed doing that. We visited the three little islands and loved them. They allowed us to leave the key inside the apartment when we left. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you for being a wonderful host.

Geraldine ist eine super Gastgeberin, die uns tolle Tipps für Stresa und die Umgebung gegeben hat. Die Wohnung ist großartig, super ausgestattet und bietet alles was man braucht. Sauberkeit ebenfalls einwandfrei! Definitiv ein zusätzliches Plus ist der tolle Ausblick vom Balkon. Die Einfahrt zur Garage mag für den ein oder anderen etwas schwierig sein. Wir hatten damit keine Probleme. Parkplätze wären auch unweit der Wohnung verfügbar. Alles top und eine definitive Empfehlung!!

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end, l’appartement était idéalement placé à proximité des pistes de ski, on s’y est senti tout de suite très bien. La vue, grâce aux fenêtres, était très appréciable et agréable, permettant de profiter du bel environnement. Et enfin Benoit est très réactif et a répondu très gentiment à toutes mes questions, nous sommes ravis !

Lovely and cozy apartment! Got a very nice and open view. Alessandro is a great host. We unfortunately encountered inclement weather during our stay. The whole village was out of electricity and no train service. We were stuck and Alessandro was very accommodating and kept us informed of the updates. The apartment is very close to the train station and groceries stores. There is a road uphill getting to the place.

Everything about this apartment was perfect for our stay in Zermatt. It was immaculate, in excellent condition, and well equipped for all of our needs. We had a family of 6 (5 adults, one infant) staying and we were extremely comfortable. The hosts are extremely responsive and communicative. And of course the apartment and surroundings were gorgeous. Highly recommend for a family or group holiday!
