An ideal area for walking, cycling, canoeing and other outdoor pursuits. Self contained with private garden and suitable for two adults. This isolated retreat is in an exceptionally beautiful part of rural England that grazes the Welsh borders and yet is a stones throw from cultural, Hay on Wye. Traditional Otter Cottage is nestled on our secluded organic farm. Relax in your garden, enjoy views of the sparkling stream, snuggle up by a crackling log fire, wander to the pub for dinner or ramble the majestic Black Mountains! From the window you might see Kites, Fox, Kingfisher, deer and Otters.

Relax and enjoy a stay on a smallholding in Herefordshire. The upper floor of a one bedroomed annex with its own shower-room. On the landing is a small area with facilities to make your own breakfast, including microwave and three quarter size fridge. Own entrance, a small patio area at front. Off road parking. Hosts live in the main house. The accommodation is on the edge of a village so no street lighting. Village shop and local pub in walking distance.

Within easy reach of Hereford city centre and close to many other popular places ie Hay-on-Wye, the Black Mountains, the Golden Valley, the Showgrounds of the Three Counties and the Royal Welsh to name but a few! This open plan bed/sitting/kitchen space gives the feeling of calm and relaxation. A separate shower/toilet room also. This is situated on a working farm.

Old Shop Cabin is a beautiful and relaxing place from which to enjoy Hay-on-Wye (the famous book town) and the wonderful countryside of the Black Mountains, the Brecon Beacons, and Herefordshire's Golden Valley. The cabin is the perfect place to come for a couples getaway. It is totally self-contained, has ample off-road parking and also has its own completely private, south-facing garden with a tranquil view looking out onto the village church.

The cottage is adjacent to our house in the quiet village of Bredwardine. We are in an excellent position for site seeing, walking and cycling, our local hotel is well known for salmon and course fishing along with good food there's also a number of country inns who serve food within a 10 minute drive for those who prefer not to cook. The county town of Hereford is 12 miles and the famous town of books Hay on Wye is 8 miles
