2 bedroom lodge with stunning loch, mountain views

AndrewRating, 5 stars44 months ago
Lovely setting and a well-appointed, spotless lodge. A lot of thought has gone into the experience, from the welcome pack of tea bags and 'first day' essentials, to the decent, clean and powerful shower and even the kitchen, which had superb equipment and a decent selection of cooking utensils. There is even a selection of quality, sharp knives available, which never happens in self-catering accommodation - they are always blunt! A barbeque was available too - again, quality equipment. The Ptarmigan lodge has a lovely aspect and views from it were charming. Waking up to the sight of Ben More through your bedroom window is pretty awesome as is having a sun-downer on the terrace. All in all, a really pleasant stay - full marks!!
The chalet features a blue wooden exterior, framed by lush greenery and trees. A small pathway leads to the entrance, which is flanked by a porch with railing. Surrounding foliage adds a sense of seclusion and tranquility to the setting.

Excellent !

Maple Lodge, Pondfauld

FionaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Had a lovely couple of days at Maple Lodge for our anniversary. Mel and Keith were super welcoming and friendly, and made sure the place was warm and welcoming with milk and biscuits etc. They gave lots of great recommendations for things to do in the area. There were other people staying too but it still felt really private and peaceful - we loved spending the afternoon on the deck. We had breakfast at the local pub which was lovely, did some local walks and enjoyed a day out in Pitlochry.
A wooden deck features a round table with two chairs, set against a background of lush green hills and a tranquil loch. The scene is complemented by a retractable awning, providing shade and a comfortable outdoor space for relaxation.

A fantastic cabin in the middle of a picturesque area. Easy to drive to and packed with lots of places to go. Perfect for a place to stay whilst roaming around or for a cosy cabin weekend playing board games with friends whilst drinking whiskey!
The exterior of the Gamekeeper lodge is viewed against a backdrop of verdant hills and mature trees. The cabin features a wooden facade with a complementary roof, nestled harmoniously in the natural surroundings of the Portnellan Estate.

Gamekeeper Lodge loch and mountain view free wifi

Anne MarieRating, 5 stars10 months ago
there was a mix up as the host did not have any of my details to forward info to me he said travel nest had not sent them to him ,so we did not know that there was a little shop on site or the use of some equipment and board games which would have been great but too late by time we knew! Also we confirmed we had dogs and again travelnest did not inform the host that we had paid for dogs in the cost.

Fisher Lodge

DavidRating, 5 stars12 months ago
We had a lovely, peaceful and relaxing stay at Port Nellan. Fisher lodge provided everything you could possibly need for your stay. The surroundings are gorgeous and a haven for wildlife, which were lovely to watch. We did have an issue with WiFi and no mobile phone signal in our lodge. This meant we were unable to communicate with family or plan our trips around the area unless we went out and about. We did email Cameron and he responded to say there was an issue with Starlink. This was unfortunate as it was an otherwise wonderful getaway in a beautiful part of the country.

Cosy Modern Nordic Lodge w/ Loch View + Log Burner

MeenakshiRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Linda’s place was absolutely magical - you are nestled amongst trees with views of the loch and surrounded by birds chirping. We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The kitchen was so thoughtfully stocked, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The location of the chalet itself is perfect : 20 minutes from Callandar which had great restaurants and shopping, and 10 minute ride into Killin and other beautiful nature spots. Linda was so helpful and responsive throughout our stay — it really made our experience stress free. We will definitely be back!
