The place was beautiful :) we had such a good time. The host was very responsive when we had a minor issue!

I had a wonderful time at this location. I truly enjoyed how peaceful it was around us. I highly recommend going outside at night to stargaze—it's a fantastic place to bring your family or, in my case, friends for a bonfire night!

Overall great stay, may not be for everyone with some of the hunting decor but it very much gives off cozy cabin vibes which more than accommodated for our needs. A full kitchen of pots and pans made it very easy for a great homemade breakfast. Had a small issue getting into the cabin initially but this would be an oversight on my end as Mike had put the enter/check-in code in the initial message with me. Would definitely book again! 5/5

My only regret regarding our stay was the weather! Rained and stormed for most of our time there so we weren't able to take much advantage of the 50 acres. :( However, the house itself was so spacious that we didn't feel "trapped" being stuck inside. The covered wrap around porch allowed us to sit outside and play games even when it was raining. Lots of spaces to both hang out as a family and have some alone time if needed inside with TVs in all the rooms. The three bedrooms and 2.5 baths was perfect for us and our two teenagers - everyone felt they had their own space. John was very quick with responses and even checked in on us after a pretty nasty storm had passed to make sure we were ok. All in all, a great place that we would definitely stay at again - hopefully with better weather!

For the size of this home, it works perfectly. The little extras that they bring like the homemade muffins are just so sweet kind and so so good.

We had a great stay here over the Easter holiday. The place is as listed and it was nice to have multiple beds available for each person. It is quiet, but not too far from town which was perfect for my family. The home is being renovated in places, but no issues that impacted our stay and we would definitely stay here again when in town. I would recommend this to anyone asking for a referral in Quincy.

Convenient location, walking distance to shops and restaurants in town. The place was clean and comfortable, but the shower is warm water only. The host responded immediately to communication during check-in but ignored 3 later attempts to contact.

we came on a rainy weekend but still enjoyed our stay caught plenty of fish between rain showers love soaking in the hot tub but best of all a big yard for our little dogs to run they had a blast.. we have a reservation for the 4th of july and cannot wait to go back.. definitely will be a yearly visit for us..

this is an ideal place for families with four or fewer kids. choice was a lovely and generous host. the cottage is very nice and exactly what we expected from the postings on Airbnb. we will definitely be back as it is perfectly situated for youth sporting events in the Hannibal/Louisiana area.
