As a budget traveler, I feel fortunate to have enjoyed a delightful stay at Maud’s family home. The private room is cozy, spacious, and inviting, equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable, home-like experience. I truly appreciated the light breakfast of cereal, tea, and coffee included in my stay. My heartfelt thanks to Maud and Alan for their flexibility in accommodating my early check-in upon arrival in Chester. It was also a pleasure to chat with Maud at checkout. She is friendly, easygoing, and accommodating. I highly recommend this clean, lovely, and spacious accommodation to other travelers.

We stopped for a night at Christine's whilst visiting Chester. She has a beautiful, quirky and clean home. The welcome was very warm and she was absolutely lovely. We took a bus to Chester (bus stop only 5 minutes walk from her home) so easy commute. She offered us a selection of simple breakfast treats in the morning which absolutely made our day. Highly recommended if you're looking for a budget stay in the area.

We stayed for wedding near by. Heather was very friendly and helped us bring in our stuff. The room was very clean and comfortable. Also she was very helpful and when we asked to meet the dog it was not a problem and the dog was very friendly. Just to add the dog was very quiet.

A lovely stay in a historic manor house. The house has been beautifully preserved and was very comfortable. It is well equipped with everything that you need. We also appreciated the welcome basket of milk, eggs, butter, bread, jam, tea & coffee! There were 8 adults in our group with plenty of space for us all. The host was very friendly and helpful when we arrived making sure we were comfortable and had everything that we needed.

Karen met us when we arrived and showed us to our spotlessly clean room, equipped with kettle, toaster, microwave, well stocked fridge, and a wonderful welcome hamper, full of breakfast goodies. Great views of the garden with its BBQ and fire pit, and a nearby horse stable. We really felt like we were in a peaceful countryside setting. I have to mention the small bathroom, but we managed to overcome the tight squeeze to the larger shower! We were on a nostalgia tour of North Wales, having met each other and lived and worked in the area many moons ago. We ate good food in the Fox and Grapes pub, an old haunt, which is a 10 minute walk to the village. I would certainly recommend this Airbnb to fellow travellers.
