Monthly Rentals in Penstock Lagoon

We had a wonderful break at The Lake Retreat. This home was beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean & so very peaceful. The kitchen had everything you could wish for & would be suitable for large groups. We appreciated the comfy beds, quality linen, towels & bath products that were provided for our stay. There were many extra touches to make you feel welcome & at home. Peter was always friendly & fantastic with all communications. I would highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone wishing to get away from it all in this area of Tasmania. Thank you for having us, we would love to return some day 🙂

Kate's place was a fabulous place to stay with my doggo. One of the most generously well-equipped kitchen's I've experienced, super comfortable beds, warm and homely and a stunning view across the lake! Kate is a wonderfully warm and kind host, easy and responsive communication. I highly recommend Kate's place and will definitely stay again.

Really enjoyed the stay at the chalet. It was well equipped with everything we needed. We were staying for cycling, so was able to keep the bikes by the rear entrance. We enjoyed seeing the local wildlife around the chalet. It felt homely and lived in. It felt like we were in someone's home rather than in an investment.

What an amazing place to stay in the wilderness.. we loved it! Highly recommend.. great atmosphere and so relaxing.. rustic chic.. if that’s a real thing.. great kitchen set up and loved no TV.. great selection of reading if u forget your kindle! Loved the fireplace.. both inside and out.. easy walk to one pub and a short drive to the other! Have already recommended to my friends!!
