We had a great stay in this very nice house, located in the middle of nature—very calm and peaceful. The check-in was easy with a concierge system from the owner (they also manage other houses in the area). The house is big and comfortable, with a large kitchen and living room. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. The decoration is like a small museum, full of beautiful objects from local shops and galleries, mixed with modern comfort. Beds are large and very comfortable. Everything is provided: bed linen, towels, and even bathrobes. The amenities are excellent: hot tub with jets, outdoor jacuzzi, heated pool, and gas barbecue. The owners answered very quickly when we had questions.

We had a pleasant stay at the Villa XIV. It was quiet and had a view of the forest. From booking the villa to receiving us and then to checking out, Jeanne and Virginie had been giving us clear instructions and messages. We were never left wondering what to do. Jeanne, whom we met, is a warm person. She is helpful and quick to respond to our messages. Thank you, Jeanne!

My husband and I stayed at La Petite Maison for a month and enjoyed living there very much. It’s well located, an easy walk to the Carmes market, with shops and restaurants nearby. It’s very quiet and peaceful, on a pedestrian alley with no traffic noise. The house was comfortable. The bedrooms are a good size, with the master bedroom being spacious. The living room/dining room was plenty big for the two of us, but might feel a little small for larger groups. The kitchen was well-stocked. It’s convenient to have 2 washer/dryer units, as well as an iron and ironing board. There was plenty of hot water for showers. Check-in was simple with the key in the lockbox, and any small issues were handled by the responsive host. Note for Americans: even though the English version of the listing states there are 2 bathrooms, the translation is misleading. In France, “salle de bain” means a sink/shower combination, not what Americans consider a bathroom w/toilet.

Comfortable and interesting spot in a unique town! Berengere was super communicative and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a night in Cordes-sur-Ciel.

Very nice accommodation that respected our expectations of tranquility. The surrounding fields made our dog happy! Phil was very responsive and offered us activities. It's true that we were a little cold, fortunately it had electric heaters.

A great vacation home in a quiet but very picturesque area. In the house everything is in order, nice terrace with BBQ (got stuff for the BBQ from Pierre, thanks), a beautiful swimming pool. In one word TERRIFIC!! A car is needed as the house is remote but in a beautiful setting!! 7 km away it is fine to shop in Rabastens where on Saturday there is a delicious market, really such a French market!! Nearby are lovely villages where beautiful things can be seen. We enjoyed it very much and also had wonderful weather!!

Perfection doesn’t come easy, and I rarely overpraise — but I can say with absolute delight that this place exceeded every expectation... We were a group of 17 celebrating my 50th birthday, with 8 children aged 9–13 and 9 adults. The house accommodated us all with ease and comfort...The Room layout is a bit funny in places but worked fine for us.. We barely left the house, apart from the occasional shopping trip or vineyard visit. We cooked large meals daily using both the indoor and outdoor kitchens, both brilliantly equipped and practical. There were endless seating areas to gather, relax, eat, drink, and laugh while soaking in the stunning views and sunsets ... Highlights, Impressive facilities, ice machine and bar, heated saltwater pool, countless games for the kids (and adults!), tennis tournaments, hide-and-seek, ice baths beside the Jacuzzi, and evenings around the firepit toasting marshmallows 🔥 like luxury camping, with the soundtrack of nature all around. #whatatreat

We had a truly memorable stay at Karen and Laka’s beautiful home in the peaceful village of Varen, France. The location is ideal for exploring some of the most charming towns in the region - Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val, Najac, Cordes-sur-Ciel, Albi, and more are all within easy reach. The property itself is thoughtfully appointed, with a lovely private patio garden that opens up to a breathtaking meadow. The swimming pool is perfectly positioned to take in sweeping views of the countryside, forest, and even the village church tower - it’s the kind of peaceful backdrop that invites deep relaxation. Karen and Laka are warm, welcoming hosts who instantly make you feel at home. They offered fantastic local tips and recommendations, clearly sharing a strong connection to their community. Their genuine hospitality made the experience feel less like a rental and more like a second home. 10/10 we’d love to return and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an authentic French break.

We liked the quiet and creative setting of the place, the pool is large and private, there are plenty of nice little corners with original decoration. We immediately felt the artistic aspect of the place. Thomas was nice and clear in his instructions. We'll definitely be back.

It is rare to discover, in our time, a resort that combines with so much elegance the serenity of the countryside, the warmth of human hospitality and the proximity to a big city like Toulouse. From the moment we arrived, we were touched by the truly warm and caring welcome of the hosts. Their kindness, availability and kindness went a long way in making our stay an enchanted break. The setting is simply idyllic. The property, located in the countryside, enjoys an environment, absolute tranquility, conducive to relaxation and reconnection with nature. One of the great pleasures of this stay was undoubtedly breakfast, which alone deserves a mention of excellence. Every morning, the homemade bread, prepared with care and passion, was an enchantment for the taste buds. The presence of the two dogs brings an extra touch of life and warmth. This address is a real gem.

House with lots of character, very well-equipped and very beautiful potential perfectly exploited. Laurence and Jean-Michel are very welcoming, considerate and available. Jean-Michel, a passionate bakery enthusiast, has concocted excellent pastries and bread for our breakfast. (Order on request). Great place for a great relaxing time. We have just returned from a great 5 night break at Patrice's place (Magnolia de Bonheur). The location is really very Impressive indeed. The view from the pool deck is superb. The Gîte was exactly as described and very comfortable. The general property is very rustic and peaceful - totally relaxing and calm. Patrice is a very kind and considerate host and was always responsive and helpful when we had a couple of queries. Les Hauts de Jeanvert is definitely to be recommended. The accommodation is fantastic, very comfortable and better than what you see in the photographs. The house is surrounded by a garden in a very quiet area, which has been perfect for our dogs who have enjoyed it at the top running and inspecting the garden. The house is spacious and bright, with a large sofa and a wonderful kitchen with lots of storage and work area. I recommend it 100% and if I go back in the area I would definitely repeat it.

Very nice stay at Robin's, in retreat mode. The space is well furnished, very comfortable, warm and clean, with a view of the valley that's superb in spring despite the rain. You can cook comfortably and if you're there on a good weekday, good fresh bread is available! The surrounding places are very beautiful for those who want to explore. I would highly recommend it.

We had a great time with friends in Claude's villa. There's plenty to do around Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val (hiking, via ferrata, cycling, etc.). Our host was very flexible for our arrival and departure, thanks again to him.

We had a great time at Charlotte & Laurent’s place. Their kindness and proactively helpful attitude, combined with the forest environment, created a very pleasant feeling across the stay. As part of a former farm, the property is a traditional stone building which has been recently renovated in a nice way, with a lot of thought given to making you feel comfortable and welcome. The house is very clean, well equipped, including a nice terrasse and a functioning wood stove in the living room. The hosts also raise goats, our kids could feed them and we could attend the milking session. The property is located in a beautiful countryside, and a good base for visiting the Sidobre area with all its picturesque rocks. Highly recommended.

Completely as described, you just have to have good legs because Cordes sur Ciel is a very beautiful perched village. And that sometimes you can be parked a little far away, the apartment is spacious, bright and in very good condition, coffee capsule and very nice crunchy snacks on arrival.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. It was our first acquaintance with the Aveyron; what a beautiful region. There is plenty to see and do, we will definitely come back.

We absolutely loved our stay at Chateaux de Jean. It was a heavenly 4 days on this beautiful estate and the accommodation has everything we needed. It was a dream come true to stay in a chateaux in France.

We had a weekend Flawless functional accommodation, there was everything to start the day, thank you for the coffee pods, it's always nice in the morning when waking up after a wedding day I highly recommend it. If we need to come back to the department I will relook without problem thank you Cynthiana
