Places to stay in Peniche

we stayed for 19 days at this lovely apartment in peniche, very spacious and comfortable. Theia is a very kind and patient host and highly recommended🙂 the town is walkable and there is several beaches and evan a lot of vegan options at the local resturant. Also you can find 3 supermarkets in peniche,lidl,aldi and continente so there is everything you need. Be happy to return in the future.

Surf Atlantic was overweight hoped it would be. The house itself was spotless and had everything we needed. The hot tub was just what we needed at the end of our busy days to warm us up (unfortunately the weather was not kind to us!!). Despite the awful weather we got to use the bbq on our one sunny evening. Baleal itself is just stunning, beautiful beaches to walk to and some lovely places to eat. Zuzanna was super helpful and friendly. My husband needed a massage after hurting his shoulder and I can definitely recommend Zuzanna. We would definitely visit again in summer months to make the most of the garden and the beaches.

Joana's house is located in Serra d'El-Reí, a perfect village if you want to visit the area of Peniche, Obidos, Alcobaça, Fatima, Tomar, without changing locations... The house is spectacular. It is a renovated town house (there are some spectacular photos in the house where you can see the before of the Regina) with a lot of attention to detail, and with all the necessary food. Joana is attentive and kind to guests, and she made everything very easy for us. Highly recommended.

A lovely place just a short walk from the beach. I enjoyed running along the beach exercise track and checking out the breathtaking cliffs in Ferrel - definitely explore the peninsula. Loved the minimalist décor that is free of clutter but has everything you need to be comfortable. Highly recommended.

The backyard with all the plants and colorful seatings is super sweet - we enjoyed to hang out there. The house is directly at the main street, traffic can get noisy, if you have a room towards the street. We liked our apartment a lot, you have basically everything you need with the bathroom and the small kitchen. However we had a lot of ants coming in, in the kitchen, which was a bit annoying. It’s nice that Elise has bikes for rent, 15€/day - we took those to the beach, as walking is too far alongside the street. Elise is super responsive and super friendly, always asking if everything is alright. We would definitely come again :) thank you Elise.

So thankful I found this place. Joao and his familiy are truly kind and heartwarming people. Even some nice treats were waiting in the house at arrival. Will definitely recommend this place!

Youth group trip with accommodation for everyone in the same room, in conviviality, and excellent outdoor space with barbecue, trampoline, hammocks and volleyball, ping pong, ... the host was extremely friendly and attentive and always responded to the requests, even was flexible at the check-in time
