Waterfront vacation rentals in Peniche

A very comfortable and clean home, in a wonderful location, with amazing hosts. It had all we needed for a very relaxing few days enjoying the local beaches. Thank you Sofia, we look forward to returning when we are next able to.

The place is so well located and huge! The bathtub after a good surf is just pure luxury, not to mention the great kitchen with everything you need for cooking. The supermarkets are also just around the corner, a 5-minute drive away. I felt very comfortable and thank Sara for her warm hospitality.

We stayed from March 30 to April 9 in this very inviting accommodation and felt completely comfortable from the first moment. The apartment is in a very quiet environment, which was perfect for us to escape the hustle and bustle of city life for a while. Thanks to the short distances, we were able to enjoy wonderful walks on the cliffs. The apartment itself was stocked with everything we needed. Cozy, clean and decorated with loving details. A very special thank you goes to Brit, who provided us with valuable tips on the surroundings and special sights. Communication was always smooth and warm. We had a lovely time!

A very comfortable and well functioning house on the 1st floor with everything in it for a relaxed vacation. Very quiet neiborhood at end of July. 5 min walk from tennis court where you can arrange lessons via Felner academy. 5 min drive from the beach. Good communication with Ana. Thank you, we hope to stay here again!

Place is exactly as described. Beautiful balcony and views. Comfy beds and kitchen amenities. Very clean upon arrival. Easy to walk to the beach and other local places. Secure building as well. Definitely take note of the weather. If cooler, request portable heaters as the unit stays naturally cooler. Thank you for sharing your home and hope to return to Peniche again.

We enjoyed our stay at Pedro's place! Prior to arriving, Pedro was great with communication. This was something that continued during our stay :) The space is very cozy and definitely feels like home—there was coffee, tea, and essentials like olive oil and spices in the kitchen, and a really great desk set up for those who need to do some work. I loved the ability to have a stand-up desk with a monitor and external keyboard while traveling. The internet held up well through many Zoom calls. We had a car and found it easy to find parking during our week-long stay. The neighborhood is extremely walkable; as other reviews mention there is a great pastry shop nearby and a very nice butcher (Manuel) who sells really yummy meatballs. I would recommend the stay and would stay here again.

I had a great stay at Leo´s place. The flat is big and comfortable, located close to the city center and just next to the beach. Communication with Leo was very fast, reliable and friendly.

A really great and clean accommodation. We felt very comfortable; everything we needed was available, and the view from the balcony was truly beautiful. The communication went very well. We would love to come back.

Octavio had great communication. Somehow I booked the wrong dates leaving me one night without a room. He had already booked the apt for that night but found me somewhere else in the neighborhood instantly. That took a lot of stress off me

Erwin and Belle were wonderful hosts. I can’t say enough about their kindness. The house was immaculate. The location is fabulous. Beautiful views and easy access to multiple beaches. We had a great meal at Tugos. We also cooked in the well stocked kitchen. I highly recommend staying here and would come back.

Great property, clean, tidy and nicely furnished. Lovely little courtyard to enjoy the afternoon sun. Neighbours super friendly. Host was really helpful and responsive to any questions I had. Easily walkable to beaches and town. Great value for money.

Nice and very clean house, kitchen very well stocked., cosy little garden in front. Actually these are two small buildings - kitchen and living/ sleeping rooms +bathroom - the front doors are opposite each other but have separate keys. The nearest beaches (beautiful Baleal) are 5km away - you need a car or a bike to get there. Shops are about 3km away, among others on the way to the beach. All in all we had great holiday. This beautiful house is in a fantastic location near the cliffs. It’s peaceful, and you can easily walk to the beach, cafés, restaurants, and surf spots. The house has all the amenities you need, and the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking. It was really cool to find yoga mats and a little corner for the kids to play. The beds are comfortable, and there’s plenty of space. Joanna, the host, is extremely responsive and always helped us whenever we needed anything. The only areas for improvement would be reducing the humidity in the basement and improving the internet connection.

It's so good I almost want to write a bad review to keep the place all to myself. The space is amazing in every sense, spacious, well-equipped, with breathtaking views and lots of options for both privacy and group activities. Claudia is an outstanding host, highly helpful and responsive. The views — don't get me started on the views, Peniche (and this particular spot) are forever in my heart and the hearts of my friends who joined me. I wish I could buy a place right next to this one. 100/10, see you guys next year!

We love Baleal and this is a lovely place on the small Baleal peninsular. Great location with wonderful sunsets. Charming and very well equipped house. Easy walking distance to both Baleal beaches. Good storage for surfboards. Inês was a superb host responding very quickly to everything. Can warmly recommend.

just as expected, location is great and access directly to the beach. restaurants and food store minutes walking. overall nice place. the only issue was it's on the main road so the front has traffic noise but only in the day as night is quiet with few cars. the building carries noise a bit, we had neighbors that were noisy in the day with kids, so that of course is just a matter of who's staying there. would stay again.

Had a wonderful stay at Nuno‘s. The flat was so well equiped and clean. Really felt home :)

Great place wonderful stay!

We had arrived a little earlier than planned. Through Kristof's good and fast communication, we were able to drop our valices early on. We were very well received, very hospitable and open. We received several tips of what to do in Peniche. The stay itself was very clean and beautiful. When we had any questions, Kristof kept helping us. Beautiful people, beautiful house, recommended!

Nuno was probably the best host we've ever had on AirBnB. Friendly, warm and very helpful. For us as surfers, it was the perfect vacation. Nuno even got us boards at a more than fair price and also had great tips for local surf shops, restaurants and also for really great waves! When we wrote, he responded immediately and helped us. Please stay that way! We would come back anytime!

We loved our stay at Nico and Evelien’s flat. They were incredibly helpful and friendly hosts. The flat was spotless and spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect for us without a car. Walkable to restaurants and beaches. Would definitely return!

Great and comfortable place near nice ocean and surfing spots

Beautiful accommodation and Ricardo is a very courteous, friendly and dependable host. Only a couple of minutes walk from the beach, surrounded by restaurants and coffee shops. It’s definitely worth the money. We felt right at home!
