Waterfront vacation rentals in Peniche

Sofia is a very kind and helpful host. Communication was very easy and fast. The house has a wonderful balcony overlooking the sea and we spent most of our time there. The house is big enough for 2 people and has everything you need location is very nice 2 minutes walk to the beach.. We would love to stay again. Thank you Sofia

We had a fantastic time at Brit’s place. It was clean, bright and very spacious. The kitchen is well supplied, and the beds were very comfortable. I’d recommend a car, as it is a long walk to downtown, but we really enjoyed how close the cliffs were as well as the little beach a 5 minute walk away. We would definitely return!

Perfect place for families, fun with pool for the kids when they get tired of the beach. Good surf 2 min walk from the accommodation. Superb host, clean and matched the description very well. Would love to stay here again and highly recommend to those who are thinking of booking.

The place was super cozy, especially the large living/dining room we liked. The location is ideal, especially with rental car. You can get everywhere quickly and always get a parking space in front of the apartment.

We enjoyed our stay at Pedro's place! Prior to arriving, Pedro was great with communication. This was something that continued during our stay :) The space is very cozy and definitely feels like home—there was coffee, tea, and essentials like olive oil and spices in the kitchen, and a really great desk set up for those who need to do some work. I loved the ability to have a stand-up desk with a monitor and external keyboard while traveling. The internet held up well through many Zoom calls. We had a car and found it easy to find parking during our week-long stay. The neighborhood is extremely walkable; as other reviews mention there is a great pastry shop nearby and a very nice butcher (Manuel) who sells really yummy meatballs. I would recommend the stay and would stay here again.

Octavio had great communication. Somehow I booked the wrong dates leaving me one night without a room. He had already booked the apt for that night but found me somewhere else in the neighborhood instantly. That took a lot of stress off me

We had a great experience at the home. It was modern, had everything we needed and a well-equipped kitchen. The house has several balconies and a fantastic balcony that is sheltered, which is nice as it is very windy on the beach sometimes. We quickly got help from Nuno when we needed it and also tips on restaurants. The accommodation is in a quiet residential area and the only thing we have to complain about (which is probably the same wherever you live) is that there are a lot of dogs in the area and they bark a lot. If you are afraid of dogs or have children, it may be good to know, but as I said, it is probably the same in most places. Everything was great and we couldn't have wished for a better place to stay for our trip to Peniche. Thank you!

Nice and very clean house, kitchen very well stocked., cosy little garden in front. Actually these are two small buildings - kitchen and living/ sleeping rooms +bathroom - the front doors are opposite each other but have separate keys. The nearest beaches (beautiful Baleal) are 5km away - you need a car or a bike to get there. Shops are about 3km away, among others on the way to the beach. All in all we had great holiday. The home was very comfortable and beautiful. I felt very inspired by the meticulous attention to detail that was placed into all corners of the apartment. The high windows, high ceilings, and mesanine kind of bedroom were very beautiful.

We love Baleal and this is a lovely place on the small Baleal peninsular. Great location with wonderful sunsets. Charming and very well equipped house. Easy walking distance to both Baleal beaches. Good storage for surfboards. Inês was a superb host responding very quickly to everything. Can warmly recommend.

Nuno is a great host. If you need anything Nuno is quick to respond. The apartment is right across the street to the beach. Great location, across the street from restaurants, cafes, grocery store, & shops. If you’re surfing, it’s a perfect location. Apartment is clean & is described just like the listing. Great quit place. Close to a supermarket and to the centre of peniche. The apppartment has all you need for your stay and the surrounding is worth a visit.

We loved our stay at Nico and Evelien’s flat. They were incredibly helpful and friendly hosts. The flat was spotless and spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect for us without a car. Walkable to restaurants and beaches. Would definitely return!

Kristof and Frederik are two very friendly and uncomplicated hosts and have furnished their apartment with a lot of taste, foresight and expertise. The high-quality mattresses, the exterior roller shutters and the technically flawless appliances are to be highlighted. Additional kitchen knives were delivered immediately. Even unusual amenities were thought of: dehumidifiers in the wardrobes, which can be very helpful in the humid sea climate, and a small selection of wines. Thank you so much for everything!

Beautiful accommodation and Ricardo is a very courteous, friendly and dependable host. Only a couple of minutes walk from the beach, surrounded by restaurants and coffee shops. It’s definitely worth the money. We felt right at home!

This was our best experience renting for our honeymoon. We will definitely be back because of the interactions had with Rickard and Lana. From the beginning they called and talked to us about best places to surf, resturants, etc. They let us know exactly what to expect. We had to reschedule due to a family emergency and they accommodated us no question and helped make it an easy process. Once we got to the airport they helped instruct us how to get to the place. Upon arrival the place was exactly what was pictured and pristine. It was perfect for us with the best view in Baleal. We got to watch the sunset over the ocean from our balcony! Rickard and Lana were available to answer any questions promptly! They are considered super DUPER hosts in my eyes. 100 out of 10! We will be back!
