I had a wonderful time at the Granary Annexe - it is a very special place, so peaceful and thoughtfully arranged by Nicole, who is a really warm and helpful host. Spacious and light, with lovely decoration, the Annexe has all the facilities needed by a solo traveller or couple for a really relaxing stay. These include a restful and comfortable bedroom, great shower, well-equipped kitchenette and dining area, and the lounge was a real joy to be in! With its wonderful view of the sea and fields I found it hard to tear myself away, but the Annexe is also in a great location for lovely trips out - I enjoyed visiting Megavissey, Charlestown and the gorgeous gardens at Caerhays Castle for the first time, as well as returning to favourite places in the Roseland Peninsula. Nicole gives really helpful hints about places to visit and how to get there - the roads round here can be narrow and steep in places but don't let that put you off coming as this is great place to explore and unwind.

We spent a week in the beautiful village of Gorran Haven. The Boathouse is on the South West Coastal Path and we walked the section from Mevagissey to Caerhays Castle. We visited the Barley Sheaf in Gorran Churchtown for Sunday lunch. We enjoyed it so much we were back again on the Friday. The local shop CakeBreads also serves great beer, as well as locally sourced Cornish Pasties and its own baked products. Definitely worth checking out. The accommodation itself is compact, but has everything you need for a great stay, including views along the coast in both directions.

Fantastic place to stay. very idyllic. A great place for a quiet weeks holiday. the pace of life at this time of the year is marvellous. We had no worries about the quality and provision of the cottage. Jo was quick to help and everything was well documented in the app. Almost too many "favourite places". You'd need a month to see them all. Fantastic place for coastal walks, the bakery around the corner was incredible, diet gone out of the window. Did I say, it was Fantastic?

Beautiful stay, perfect location, nice and quiet. Lovely accommodation, the deck was a dream to while away time in the winter sun. Very comfortable and felt at home
