Idyllic waterfront home with hot tub, hygge style

Located on a bend in the river you will feel surrounded by tranquil natural beauty. The entire front of the house is windows, looking out at the river. The house has been newly built with all of the creature comforts and a very well appointed kitchen. The hot tub , located outside on the deck is the icing on the cake. This is a perfect getaway for up to 6 people. In the summer you can swim right off the end of the dock on the property. There is also good bass and pickerel fishing in the river.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 If I could give it 100 stars, I would! This was hands down my best stay ever. The cottage is magical—quiet, spotless, and so cozy I instantly felt at home. The view? Absolutely breathtaking. You can see the lake from every room—even from bed! I slept like a queen in nature’s embrace. The area is perfect for peaceful walks and soul resets. Now, Megan—she’s the kind of host you wish every Airbnb had. So responsive, so proactive, I suspect she has superpowers. Every little request was handled faster than I could hit send. She made sure everything was perfect before I even had to ask. I felt so at home, I almost started forwarding my mail there. Confession: I debated not writing this review because I don’t want it to get booked solid… but they deserve all the love. If you’re lucky enough to stay here, treat it like the rare gem it is—and please, leave a few weekends open for me. 💛 P.S. I brought home memories, peace of mind, and about 237 lake view pics. Highly recommended.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this cottage. It was clean, it had a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable rooms to sleep. The check-in process was easy and everything was easy to find in the home. Our kids loved the ping pong table. The hot tub was especially lovely as the weather was a bit cooler than we had hoped for! Again, a lovely visit and we would highly recommend. This is an excellently kept AirBnB and a really kind and thoughtful host. We had forgotten some belongings behind and were quickly notified and he offered to ship them back to us, making our life so much easier and solving a problem that could have been a headache! We will be back in the future!

We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful, cozy, and private home. The rustic farmhouse feel made it the perfect place to relax. We especially loved having access to the many kayaks and canoes, which added to the overall experience. Julie was incredibly quick to respond to our messages and very accommodating when we ran into some minor issues. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely come back again!

My child has OCD. Clean matters very much. We all noticed that it looked and smelled very clean. Courtney was very responsive and helpful. We were staying due to allergies to pets at relative's home and this was 2 to 3 blocks from family and so close to every amenity. We wished to stay longer and Courtney worked with us but unfortunately a late ice storm made that impossible. She was kind and very helpful. We would definitely stay again. We have discussed renting this for family at a future wedding. I was so pleased to stay in Renfrew instead of an hour away in Ottawa as we had previously. This was a great choice. The only thing we missed was an in unit washer and dryer but we managed to make do since it was only around 5 days. This Airbnb is a good value and very comfortable. Will definitely stay again.

They know what you want to have fun and relax, and the set up makes it easy to slip right into vaycay mode - with a view to boot!
